Anyway, am back to work today though I'm longing for a break after the 6 days journey.

Arrived at KLIA at 5pm last Sunday and went straight to Norsha's house for Eid' Adha's celebration. Pergh, nikmat tol dapat consume Malaysian food! Melampau statement, kan?

Spent yesterday with the kids kat Ikea as I can't get my head out of the Daim Cake and lepas kan gian nak bershopping (nampak no x puas menghabiskan duit kat Beijing). Sent the two kiddos (Amirah & Eka) back to BMI before off to Alpha Angel laks to get something mom needed.

Though we reached home at almost 9pm, I was still able to urge hubby for a supper treat kat Old Town. Mmg btol² nya chocolate fiesta I smlm.. I've ordered for 1 Ice Chocolate and 1 Hot Chocolate! Macam tamak pon ada.. Huhuhu..

Itulah bahana tinggalkan Malaysia 6 hari.. Ni sume gara² unable to get stock of 3 in 1 hot choco kat Beijing tuh~

Will surely update on my Beijing trip as need to recall the details for my report ASAP. As at now, mari kita jalan² cari makan, lepas gian...

Leaving my heart...

Currently I'm at KLIA about to board on Cathay Pacific plane to Hong Kong for a transit before continue the journey to Beijing.

I'm scheduled to be in Beijing for 6 days but I won't be able to update the blog due to some restriction by the government. It seems like no access would be possible to neither fb nor blogger. But hubby had done some setting (god knows what) for me to be able to update my fb.

I'll be in Beijing due to a familiarization trip organized by Cathay Pacific. This 6 days trip includes hotels inspections, meeting with travel agent and sightseeing around Beijing.

Episodes of surprises

As mentioned earlier, I've planned a few surprises for Mr Hubby's big 30. Just to let him enjoy the remaining feel of the 20th.. Hihihi...

First, I was very much in dilemma whether to get him cupcakes or whole cake. The fact that there's only 4 of them in his office, the idea of whole cake agak macam membazir but to invest in cuppies like, I have pretty high expectation on the design.. Dah ah nak murah lepas tuh nak gempak kan? Camno? I did browse for 3d cake but since I was late, I've been given with no choice in the end but a whole delicious cake of Secret Recipe. Since now SR provide delivery service for RM10 in KL area, I purchased online and scheduled it to arrive @ hubby's office before 2pm. Sebabnya, we'll be taking time off in the evening to send mom and cousin, Kak Su off to airport. Mom as usual has meeting in Terengganu on Saturday and another in Kota Bharu on Sunday.

And thankfully while hubby was busy, the cake arrived right at the office before 11am. And guess what? He and his 2 other staffs managed to finish up 3/4 of the cake! Kebuloq ke tuh?

Once reached home, sesi penyerahan presents. He was very pleased with Alya's craft and hang while lil Alya keep on saying "Aya wants Aya Barney!"

Then, we headed back to Ipoh.

I dah cakap dgn hubby yg I've bought Lost World of Tambun's tickets for MIL, he and I. What he doesn't know was that I've planned a surprise celebration in LWoT with the rest of his family. That night, Angah came to inform that Kak Aiu and the kids has kelas ganti on Saturday and so I pown dgn penuh lakonan (of course with the help of MIL and BIL), offer to bring along Aida and Aina to LWoT.

The next morning, at 09.30am, I've texted SIL telling them that we'll be off to Angah's house to pick up the girls. Akak was scheduled to arrive LWoT earlier and picked up all the tickets. By the time we arrived, akak was still in the midst of handing over the cake to the event manager as no outside food is allowed into LWoT. I helped to settle everything without hubby realizing it.. Phew.. A very close call I must say~

Smpi je to the reserved hut, there's no one around. The decoration for birthday celebration was there but he didn't suspect anything because it was clearly stated that it's reserved for us. Seconds later, "SURPRISE!!!" You should've seen his face at the moment. He said that he already knew that there'd be surprise as Akak has uploaded her homemade cake for him in the fb. Cuma die x taw je lah bile and when will the surprise be...

And so, we enjoyed the whole day there with MIL, Akak and Abg Man and kids, Along Boboy, Ika and Nana. There was also Achik's son (as both Achik and Kak Annur can't make it), Abg Ma, Izzat and Iman. And of course not forgetting Aida and Aina and later came Angah, Kak Aiu and the rest of the troops, Abang Ngah, Addin and Naim.

Mmg enjoy gile and worth it brought them all as we tried everything that is available except for the hotspring. Poor MIL yg x brape nak enjoy sbb kena stay at the hut only (read: jaga beg). But we did bring her on the train and watched tiger feeding show.

The oepration hour of LWoT is from 1000hrs until 1800hrs and we were there from 1015hrs until 1745hrs. Mau x berbaloinyer.. Both kids and adult very much enjoy the Petting Zoo and they're not afraid at all to pet every animals available there. The close encounter to the animals surely an experience not to be missed! We've got to feed them and pat them, and touch them.. Even the Burmese phyton snake tau~ Serius seriau..

These kids laks also enjoy the crazy slides yg hubby did paksa I to go on them. Twice some more! Rasa mcm dah nak hilang suara menjerit non-stop. On top of the available pools, there's also mini theme park. We tried them all including merry go round for Alya. Kesimpulannye, despite Alya tenggelam berkali² (by the parents) everyone enjoy the day and yg paling besh, Alya pengsan kepenatan malam tuh...

Yg x bestnya, sume org kena sunburn.. Aiyak!!

Membebel secara serius

It is possible to count only using hand brape kali je kitorg balik bila time drive tanpa memerlukan lampu jalan mahupun lampu kereta. Sampai² rumah, the house is in total chaos. And knowing how fussy my husband could be and before his bebelan menyebabkan urat kepala i tegang sehingga putus, it has been a habit for me utk tros masuk dapur.. Nak² plak kalo keadaan yang sangat kritikal, kengkadang sampai tudung pown x sempat bukak. Tros tanggal jam and rings, sinsing lengan tangan and off cleaning up the kitchen (kawasan paling crucial!).

Apa yang menyebabkan I rasa sakit SAKIT HATI is those "sepahan" mmg definitely bukan disebabkan oleh Alya. Jadi kalo the whole house nak menyalahkan Alya dalam cerita mmg sangat nak menyebabkan I jadi hulk hogan lah jawabnye..

Yes, I understand how active Alya could be and how tiring it is to look after Alya the whole day, tp I x paham macam mana leh biarkan aje she sepahkan and play with things that she's not suppose to (eg: jug, water bottle, tupperware, bowl, pots and etc). Eeii.. masa I jaga dia pown, yes, she wants to play with those things and I will just say no and explain to her. Then, I would distract her with her toys and perhaps play with her for a while. Come on laa.. Don't tell me yang adult pulak yang kena mengalah. Sbb itulah sume budak² kena dijaga oleh org dewasa. Habis kalo org dewasa x leh nak jaga budak², x ke x logik namanye?

We all (me and hubby) have make it into a practise, each time lepas Alya play her toys, and she moved to another activity (eg: watch TV ke), we'll ensure she clean up ALL her toys. Sometimes we sing song "Clean up, clean up, everybody do your part.." with her and she'll start putting back all her toys where it should've been. Jadi sia² lah kan all of these trainings kalo in the end (during office hours specifically), die x practise pown. Macam mana nak dijadikan habit, btol x?

Kalo kot ye pown dah malas nak kemas selalu because she'll keep on rummaging things, tunggu lah smpi dah habis time main die, before her sleep time or milk time ke, kemas lah sket the toys (itupown kalo malas to go through the hassle of asking her to clean up sendiri). Kalo malas lagi, leh je throw ALL her toys into her tent. At least kemas lah sket umah tuh kan? Nih x de ah sampai tahap nak pijak lantai pown teragak² sbb dah penuh dgn toys dier..

Nnti² I sambung lagi sbb nih baru chapter sepahan yg dilakukan oleh Alya..

p/s: The blame doesn't go to my mom AT ALL. And surprisingly, kalo my mom jaga dia sorg², x penah plak I hadapi stress begini~

Calling all Chuggers!

Salam...

Hubby is now laughing hard the moment he saw me log in into my Blogger account.  Thanks hubby for the sindiran.  He has been asking me to update the blog for ages but only Allah knows how busy I've been for the past few months.  Do bear in mind, I'll be busy at least until December.  Definite!

My office has signed up with Proton for a project called "Proton Drive for Holidays".  This enable all purchasers of Exora and Persona in the month of November and December 2009 redeemed a 2 nights free stay in 33 hotels around Malaysia.  And guess how many vouchers have been released?  It's 11,000 vouchers and all are valid till 31st December 2010.  With only 5 operation staff (1 very much preggy and due in mid of Apr, 1 just come back from 3 weeks of marriage leave), I bet you an do the calculation and see clearly how shorthanded have we become.  Gosh...~

I used to find time to call home and check on to Alya at least twice a day but ever since the Proton project is in, mom had to call me to report.  Hehehe sowwy girl~

Since I only reaches home @ 7pm (the earliest), I'm drained to even read Alya her favorite storybook.  It's frustrating seeing me now and I intend to change it anytime soonest.  Have been tensed ever since and realized that only by blogging will I ever release it.

With a clear mind, I'm able to spend quality time with my tiring hubby as well as my forever active little girl.  And yes, I'm determine to become a loyal blogger again as I've seen how much I've missed Alya's development.

Oops it's Maghrib! Better go and perform my solat first..

Picnic at Kemensah Waterfall

This is one of the backdated entry that I've been longing to post. So, please bare with me ya? Hehehe..

Anyway, the girls from the office (Ida and Zai) have been tempting us to join the trip to Kemensah Waterfall and beeing a sports colleague, I did and drag along hubby and Alya. After all, it is a good exposure for Alya right? She has never experienced mandi sungai and it'll be good for her to get to know the nature a lil bit.. Huhu alasan~ Further more, Nani came all the way from Kedah to join us. How can I resist to that? *wink

And so, we went on last 11th October, Sunday morning. Poor mom.. She wanted to join us as much as we want her to but her meeting hold her back.. Well, perhaps next time ek?

It was my first trip as I'd only come out to know that there's a waterfall in Kemensah area so we had difficulty finding the right spot. All of the good spot is owned by some management and we had to pay RM 2 per person. And additional RM 2 per car for parking. Since when lah nak mandi sungai pown kena bayar? As per hubby said, bukan diorg kena bayar bil air atau bil elektrik pown~ But then, the place that we chose, if I'm not mistaken it was right next to Jimbara's, it was clean and ok.. Basically, I have no offend to that place.. Obvious kan yg I suka gile mandi sungai? The river is deep and freezing cold, and there's even a slide. Since we're one of the early birds, the place was not that cramp.

Alya was so excited that she keeps on saying "Ater.. ater", the moment she saw the river. Nak plak ada laks ramai kids yg suka layan die.. Lagi lah die hype~ When I hold her, she kept on saying "Down! Down!". And then, the best part was, dia jinjit kaki masa kena jalan on the sand.. Geli because for her it's dirty.. Hihihi...

We bought tuna and egg sandwiches while the girls each brought, fried rice, snacks and drinks. It was a fun day out and wish that we'd be able to do that again sometime soon; but somewhere else laks ek kali nih.. As for now, enjoy the pics~

Hubby finally went to the clinic last nite, after a long speech from me and until even he himself dah x leh nak carry diri sendiri. He has been having this fever, cough and flu for about a week tp tetap gak bersemangat nak gi keje. So unlike his wife yg pantang rasa lenguh sket, sebuk tanya leh dapat mc ke? Itupown berani tanya ngan hubby jer..

Hubby's flu has starting to annoy me tuh yg I btol² support masa die kata dia nak gi clinic. Unfortunately, since it' already Alya's bed time, xleh lah I nak temankan die.. He had to go to clinic on foot and on his own. Iye ah.. kalo berteman tuh xde ah nmpk sakit sgt die tuh kan?

A day without her

Just arrived home only to find that my little angel has long gone to sleep. It's pretty frustrating knowing very well that you haven't managed to spend time with her before she's off to the dreamworld for the next 10 hours.. If I lucky enough, she might wake up early tomorrow but then it'll be even harder for me to leave her as she'll be crying her lung out.

This morning despite her being awake when we left her in mom's room, she has been cooperative enuff. She lead herself in the room and wonder around mom's stuff before settled for her milk. And when I closed the door, I didn't hear any usual screaming if I left her awake. Perhaps she had begin to understand that we're leaving her because of work and she'll be seeing us in the afternoon, which was usually 11 hours later.

But, not today.. Arghh.. sedeynye.. Pathetic kan? Tp, sempat gak ah tadi masa I took off her pacifier, she opened up her eyes for a while and called "mama" as she saw me and dozed off..

I better make sure that we've got to spend more quality time in this week to replace the time I've missed.

Sis Mone, that's the beauty of being a fulltime housewife, you've got to spend all your quality time with her and you'll always be there when she needs you without her telling you that. And of course, there won't be the cliche morning blues (oh, of course for the time hubby left for work every mowning~) hehehe..

J Card Member's Day SALE

Went to JJ Wangsa Maju for the one day SALE.

Masya Allah org.. punyalah ramai. Hubby even had to make 2 rounds in order to get us a parking. We spent for almost an hour taw just to park our car.

Tp, bile dah masuk JJ, the SALE was everywhere. Even all the stores dlm Alpha Angel tuh pown join the SALE. Masa tuh mula lah datang rambang mata I. The moment hubby yg tgh carry Alya kata, "U pilih jer ah baju utk Alya as I nak dok tepi", terus x kasi ampun I menyelinap di celah² org dan mula menyelongar baju budak. Lagi besh bile baju yg cam mahal sket, I tunjuk kat hubby,

"Chomey kan kalo die pakai...", sambil buat muka cam comey (hua hua hua),

die pown kata, "Brape?"

"Alaa.. baru RM **, tp ada 70%"

"Huh, yg lain xde ke?"

"Tp yg ini yg cute. Yg lain xde size" Sedangkan dah malas nk cari sbb dah berkenan dgn yg itu..

"Amek je ah.." Dan dgn itu, sepantas kilat I teruskan misi mencari more baju for her.

Seeing her mama dah mula mengignore die sbb too excited over shopping, Alya pown sebuk sama mengendeng. Gave her one baju to hold on to, terus sebuk Alya nak tayang kat sumer owang.. Hik hik hik...

We end up buying 5 branded clothes for Alya for about RM90. 2 shirts, 1 khakis pants, 1 tight pants and 1 gown. Not bad, kan? Especially for branded stuff taw. And since our main mission was to buy Alya her kitchen set, we got it for less than RM 20. Even got her a laptop (yg jenis ntah apa²) for less than RM 25 (before SALE). Wee.. mmg kalo ikut kan hati, lama lagi I leh duduk dlm tuh dan terus memilih dan men'swipe', lepas tuh pilih lagi.. Tp, sbb dah smpi bedtime and milk time Alya, dgn berat hatinya I we had to move back.

Overall, the SALE mmg worth it since harga die mmg mark down btol but I x puas sbb byk lagi bnda yg I teringin sgt nk rembat cuci mata tp x sempat.

Mungkin kah ini meroyan akibat dah lama x kuar shopping? ~sigh~

Hubby kata nih macam 1/10 compare to Sat's game

Overall, though the game is not as satisfying as I've expected it to be, but I'm glad to be witnessed Man Utd played in our own ground. When I was there, I was wearing Man Utd's shirt with a high hope that I'll be cheering Man Utd all night long. But when the game started, I was cheering for Malaysia team. I was and very much am pissed off with how Malaysia's player played but still am hoping that they could improve their game after such an opportunity given with this friendy match.

Malaysia Boleh!

Breakfast at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

After a gloomy day yesterday, hubby decided to take us all out for a breakfast treat. But then since it was pretty late (almost 11am), we might just as well call it a brunch. Nih sume sbb hubby yg awal pagi dah dapat panggilan roger utk ke site. Memandangkan Alya yg sudah semakin sihat, lebih bersemangat lagi I untuk kuar for breakfast. Lagipon it has been quite sometimes since the last time we had brekkie at Coffee Bean.

Adik Yusri ordered Brek 'O' Day which consists of 2 chicken sausages served with 2 pieces of Panini bread, scrambled eggs, salad and butter and strawberry jam. The set came with black coffee that surely wake him up!

Mom, meanwhile got herself her fav, Food For Thought. It had 4 pieces of Panini bread with of course butter and strawberry jam, poached eggs and salads. But hubby had to finished up her 3 pieces of bread as mom is not a breakfast type of person. Her coffee is also given to hubby as she wanted cappucino very much.

Mine was Egg Club Sandwich. A ciabatta bread with chicken ham, cheese and egg and of course fresh salads. O000.. yummylicious! I've upgrade my drink to hot chocolate and they served it with mini marshmallow and cream.. Sinful~

Extra note: I had share my egg with Alya and only managed to finished up half of the bread. (Ayat nak kata I makan sket jer...)

Hubby ordered Turkey & Melted Cheddar Cheese Sandwich with Ciabatta. We got Alya the chocolate chip uffin yg die cuma makan less than 3 bites. The rest I terpaksa makan sbb xmo membazir, kan? Hua hua hua...

For those yg ada big appetite and coffee lover, you should really try to take this 'Breakfast All Day' kat Coffee Bean. Highly advisable. The cost range at about RM15 per set and the coffee or tea is free refillable before 11 am. It is surely worth it!

Another great reason to go, the breakfast is serves daily until 12 pm but it'll be up to 2 pm on Sunday and public holidays for those who'd love to laze around. My advice, you really got to go and experience at least once. Most outlet do have free wi-fi so you might as well bring your lappie along and indulge the scrumptious meal, surf the net and yet still enjoy the morning sunshine... How I love it...

Malaysia XI vs Man Utd Part II

I know (and I'm sure everyone knows) the fact that I was very excited over the match. Knowing that it'll be my first close encounter with my fav football team surely send butterfly to my tummy. A few awaited hours seems like days for me. Macam pasangan bercinta laks ek?

But when the time came, I've decided to let it go. I was frustrated, and even sad. But I know that it's all worth it. My dear baby was still not feeling well and my mom had banned her from being in public. Imagining what the match may be with sick baby at home surely doesn't picture right in my mind. And that's how Adik Yusri got to go with hubby.

Perhaps the discomfort feeling came from my mother's instinct and I am proud knowing that I do have those most-wanted-instincts. I've seen other mommies who had such instinct and I envied them as I never felt like I have them. But today, Alya had need me more than anything. She wanted to be close (more like glued) to me.. And I'm proud of that. Alya had never showed me how much she needs me all this while, especially when all her aunties around. But surely not this time. Even her Tok Mi couldn't take her away from me today. Though I love the feeling being wanted, I also doesn't it feel it right. Alya used to be very freely. Enjoying everything around her. I hope and I pray that she'll be back to herself by tomorrow.

It is now 10 mins to 5am and her high temp is still there but so much less than before. The coughing is also starting to go away and so do the flu...

Hubby, though my passion for football is less compare to yours, you of all people should know how much I'd to love to be there watching the match with you. And this sacrifice I've made today can only be repay by you with at least one shirt. Tp tetibe laks b jadik lurus ek? Tuh ah.. bile dah ada bola, bile dh dpt jmpe MU, terus lupe everything. Beli shirt pown utk diri sendiri. Hangin ah nih~ You surely owe me A LOT!

p/s: bile Alya dah sihat, what should I tuntut from him?

Sesi beriadah bermain bowling

Last Monday, went to play bowling with my cousins, Abg Din and wifey, Liza and Yana. Since Alya, Ayahteh die hold die, she had no other choice but to stay still dlm keter throughout the journey. In the end, die tertido terus.. Shian dier..

We played at Flamingo, where org mmg agak kurang. With the new setup, the place do look different than before. Enjoy je ah ek video pemain x professional langsung nih~

Alya slept the whole night through despite all the moving from car to stroller, back to car and up to the bedroom. Ntah exercise apa die siang tuh penat sangat.
Note to hubby: Mujur I remind to bring the stroller along. See how handy it had became?

We played 3 sets of game with 2 frames. Memang lenguh gile tangan lepas tuh. Dah ah angkat bola berat yg x besh (komen cam hebat semacam je ek?), lepas tuh kena angkat Alya lagi dalam keter.. Next time kalo main, I will only be available for 2 sets unless ramai lagi org sbb xde ah gap utk my next turn tu dekat sgt. Tp, overall, besh gak main laju cam ari tuh..

BBQ di Ipoh

Ini cerita basi.. Hehehe..

Early July ari tuh, macam biasa kitorg akan balik Ipoh.. Tp, yg x disangka² kan, Akak (SIL) and family pon plan nak balik on the same date gak. Kalo akak dah join group, sure ah akan dihebah²kan dan akan jadi acara besh.. Achik (BIL) pon agree to join in cuma die sampai lambat sbb aktiviti basikal nye.. Nak lagi besh, Along (BIL) dari Labuan pon leh join sama.. Actually Along was schduled to attend a week course kat KL, so die pon amek ah peluang nih utk dtg awal and join the fun. Mau x berapi die baca all the emails that we've sent and cc to him. Hihihi..

Memandangkan, jumlah kami yg berkoyan², akak pon come up with a plan to BBQ. Bukan di sungai (macam biasa), bukan juga di Padang Polo (macam biasa), tp di halaman umah MIL je. First to arrive kat Ipoh, of course ah kami 3 beranak bersama² Along dan Upin & Ipinnya. Nak lagi besh, MIL mmg x tau yg Along nih akan datang, so die cam bising gak mula² napa I x bawak along Achik's children. Plan asal, I was supposed to bring all the boys and Kak Annur will hop in Akak's car. I ckp je ah kat MIL yg barang dlm keter I byk.. Hik hik hik; barang hidup~

Smpi je kat umah MIL, punya ah terkejut die nmpk Upin and Ipin tuh. Dia kata Along pos 2 or nih je ke? Dia x sedar yg Along dok berdiri kat sebelah die, smpi ah Along cuit. Menjerit gak ah MIL. Excited sungguh die.

Pagi tuh, akak arrived pretty early. Bersihkan all the chicken, meat, squid, fishes and prawns yg mostly akak beli kat Pasar Borong Serdang, and marinated it. Then, off we went to a wedding. Anak kawan satu kem ngan arwah bapak masa kat Johor dulu. (My late FIL was an army) Tp, I'm not going to talk about the wedding yet as tgh excited nak cerita pasal BBQ nih.

On the way balik dr Kamunting, singgah utk beli durian (sbb lepas tuh leh claim kat Achik). Smpi je umah dah petang, terjah dulu durian tuh.. Tp, kitorg tetap tinggalkan a few batches utk Achik and Kak Annur..

Petang, umah MIL dah mula bising sbb dah penuh. Yg boys main macam², yg the girls leh harap layan Alya while the men dok asyik berborak and the ladies siap barang nak bakar. Memang meriah sungguh. Yg xde cum Kak long and 2 anak daranya (Kaklong Amalina and Kakngah Fifah) and Angah (on duty kat KL).

Lepas Maghrib, operasi pembakaran pown bermula.. The rest is a history..

My MIL yg sgt excited sbb tgk ramai balik kampung. And Opah yg katanya dah setahun x nmpk luar umah.

Nana first birthday celebration. She turned 3 a few days back. Akak made a yummy, sinful choc indulgence cake for this.

Bukan die je yg excited. Cousins yg lain lebih² lagi...
