Another weekend without my ms sunshine~

Had just sent mom and alya at klia for their flight to kuantan. They're supposed to attend wedding in besut on saturday. So, they'll basically leave to kuala berang tommorrow morning.

I'm predicting a very boring weekend... Thanks to aini who ordered berry (yet to decide which berries to use) cheesecake; that will surely keep me uptight for a while..

Am now having dinner at Noodle Station, Alamanda Putrajaya. It's either the food is seriously off my taste or i'm losing my appetite. Their specialty is definitely wanton mee in all types of cooking, be it dry or soupy.

Am in no mood to write more as am missing my ms sunshine..

Breakfast at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

After a gloomy day yesterday, hubby decided to take us all out for a breakfast treat. But then since it was pretty late (almost 11am), we might just as well call it a brunch. Nih sume sbb hubby yg awal pagi dah dapat panggilan roger utk ke site. Memandangkan Alya yg sudah semakin sihat, lebih bersemangat lagi I untuk kuar for breakfast. Lagipon it has been quite sometimes since the last time we had brekkie at Coffee Bean.

Adik Yusri ordered Brek 'O' Day which consists of 2 chicken sausages served with 2 pieces of Panini bread, scrambled eggs, salad and butter and strawberry jam. The set came with black coffee that surely wake him up!

Mom, meanwhile got herself her fav, Food For Thought. It had 4 pieces of Panini bread with of course butter and strawberry jam, poached eggs and salads. But hubby had to finished up her 3 pieces of bread as mom is not a breakfast type of person. Her coffee is also given to hubby as she wanted cappucino very much.

Mine was Egg Club Sandwich. A ciabatta bread with chicken ham, cheese and egg and of course fresh salads. O000.. yummylicious! I've upgrade my drink to hot chocolate and they served it with mini marshmallow and cream.. Sinful~

Extra note: I had share my egg with Alya and only managed to finished up half of the bread. (Ayat nak kata I makan sket jer...)

Hubby ordered Turkey & Melted Cheddar Cheese Sandwich with Ciabatta. We got Alya the chocolate chip uffin yg die cuma makan less than 3 bites. The rest I terpaksa makan sbb xmo membazir, kan? Hua hua hua...

For those yg ada big appetite and coffee lover, you should really try to take this 'Breakfast All Day' kat Coffee Bean. Highly advisable. The cost range at about RM15 per set and the coffee or tea is free refillable before 11 am. It is surely worth it!

Another great reason to go, the breakfast is serves daily until 12 pm but it'll be up to 2 pm on Sunday and public holidays for those who'd love to laze around. My advice, you really got to go and experience at least once. Most outlet do have free wi-fi so you might as well bring your lappie along and indulge the scrumptious meal, surf the net and yet still enjoy the morning sunshine... How I love it...

Hari Makan

Last Sat, I was on duty at Permata Petronas Bangi. As usual, we got to open up a booth for Petronas Carnival (macam Family Day). After the duty, apa lagi activity I?

Late lunch at Spaghetti Grill, Midvalley. Never tried eating here before. Basically the concept is almost the same ngan Chilli's. Bottomless beverages and kids eat for free. Tp, menu die way sikit compare to Chilli's ah. And of course, the price too..

Today, I'm going to teach you how to eat Spaghetti.

First, you have to wait for your parents to feed you.

Second, you need to slurp the remaining of the Spaghetti string.


And walllah... The smudge is nice, for sure!

Dah kenyang lunch, dinner laks kat Garden Cafe. It's on mom! Nih repeat because she x puas hati that day don't have live pianist. The pianist is only available from Friday till Sunday.

And this time, Alya finished up her one bowl of Mushroom Soup, all by herself!

Alya buli Cik Yana

Last Friday, since we're on mc, we've decided to go out andspend more time with lil Alya in the evening. Apa x nya, the whole day we've post her kat umah my cousins for my aunty to look after. I'm too weak to take care of her and even to supervise her. And knowing her, she and her mischievous act won't keep still for even half minute.

Yana was on leave so she decided to join us. And where else kalo bukan ke One Utama,our family's fav shopping place. But before that, we stop at Chowkit (gile out of the way) to buy plates, cups and saucers and even catering's cases for Sunday.

The main reason to go to OU is to get Alya a new bottle.

We all memang dah agak pissed off dengan her current AVENT bottle. It keeps on leaking.. Dan berkat hasutan from dearie Sis Mone, we chose to get her bottle that is BPA Free. So, setelah puas meneroka the Mum's Care (macam ah besar sgt pown~), we chose MAM bottle. It's anti colic and BPA Free. Yeay! Lepas tuh, Alya skang kan suka minum using straw instead of direct from the cup, which she tend to choke everytime she sip, we also bought her the drinking bottle. Dah cam nak gi school dah anak mama nih..

Sesi Makan

After work, we sent mom and Kak Inung to KL Sentral for their train ride to Penang. Stopped by Subway to get them sandwich to be eaten on their way. They both get 6 inch bread each (mom's a parmesan and Kak Inung get herself the honey oat bread) with ONLY turkey breast and cheese. Plain kan? No veges nor any sauce at all... Well, as long as they happy, x kesah lah~

After KL Sentral, we then moved to Berjaya Times Square. Ever since hubby read somewhere in the net stating that the top hit of doughnut is already in town, he has been nagging me to go to Times Square.

(Part Alya happy tuh not because of the doughnut tp sbb bebas!)

Since it was 15 mins past 8 pm, we decided to pack some doughnuts first before our dinner sbb takut habis stocks. x senunuh tol!. The doughnut cost RM 2++ per piece and RM 23.90 for a dozen of varied doughnut. It's cheaper if you choose only the glazed one. Around RM 19.90. It's situated at Ground Floor. As of now, their only store is in Berjaya Times Square. For more drooling info, you may have a peek here. But all in all, my personal opinion says that their choice is a bit limited and the glaze makes it looks very sweet. Dlm keadaan yg panas gering nih, sweets (read: too sweets) is not that tempting enough. Tp, based on the reviews read in the net, we better just grab all the options they have and give it a try. (read: we did though ignore the cappucino and green tea as we're not that big fan of coffee and tea-flavored food. They've done a great job being a drink only). Nanti I dah makan, I'll give some personal review for it.

Done our main objective, we then headed to the next store for our dinner, the Papa John. They are famous with their pizzas and pastas.

Malaysian yg ada pon us dgn another couple. Chet tol! Alya pon sempat pecahkan satu pinggan diorg. Malu btol masa tuh rasanya~ In the end, ini lah cara kitorg melepaskan boring menunggu..

Okay, nice, delicious.. Loves the tomato sauce. Pretty awkward bile it was served with the small cili jeruk. Tp, kecik sangat.. Mana kenyang, babe!

Bekas nampak cam besar tapi, cetek jer.. Aku terpedaya... Tp, taste still sedap!!

Hubby's drink was black coffee while mine just hot chocolate...

After Papa John, our next destination was Subway. Grab a 6" Italian BMT with Parmesan bread for our breakfast tomorrow morning. Filling die ada, cheese, pepperoni, turkey ham...

Lepas tuh baru hati senang bley balik~

Yesterday, we've went for daily grocery shopping yg as per Sis Mone said, bukan top up stock sbb Alya smpi dah nak tenggelam dlm trolley.. Hehehe..

And today, as per the title, yeah, we went to shop, again! Gosh, me and any shopping store is inseparable (ada ke such word?). These are some of the things yg managed I grabbed today in our speed shopping..

And of course, setiap kali shopping though it is a speed shopping, surely akan ada habuan untuk Alya...

Setelah hampir gugur semua rambut hubby, I pon decided to pay for Alya's nyet nyet shoes. Alya pretty in need of new nyet nyet shoes since her previous one was making her feet sweating most of the time. Sebelum kaki nya berbau, might as well we invest in something better which cost only less than RM 10 more than the previous one. Sebab tuh ah people always said "Quality comes with a price", kan?

Yg pastinya, my mom am very happy with the new shoes sbb lagi bising bunyik nya.

Asal nak kuar je, sure die akan ke belakang pintu (read: where the shoe rack is), point to her shoes and say "Shhh".. Tp, as for now, x de lah lagi air liur die yg meleleh masa pronounce the word.

Anyway, the main reason why we went to shop is to get bread and instant chapati to be eaten with the marvellous meat curry.

Hubby and meat mmg lah x bley dipisahkan. And yes Isma, our hubbies share the same appetite. The batang pinang meat tuh dah I rebus for quiet sometimes last night, and Kak Su turn it into a thick curry.. Memang perfect to be eaten with crunchy yummy chapati. Cuma satu je x besh nya (read: x besh utk hubby je) ialah it's too hot for him. Dlm pedas² tuh, he tibai 4½ pieces and mom had 2½ and surprisingly I only had 1 piece. Itupon sbb lepas dah habis kemas baru makan, baru tau sedap nyer~ Nak bake another piece cam malas plak.. So, just amek ½ senduk of nasi (read: serius sket, ok?) to be eaten with the balance of curry...

JB and Singapore's Trip

Once arrived in JB, we straight away headed to our hotel "Tropical Inn". Selepas penat bergolek² atas katil, we moved to next agenda. And that is, makan tauhu bakar!! And tempat nye x lain dan x bukan, kat Dataran.. Sekali, since Alya ada (nak gak masuk kan Alya), we also got steamboat for her. And new food to try is cakoi bakar...

Dah sampai JB, dah jatuh hukum wajib makan nih... Tauhu bakar, steamboat and cakoi bakar (not in photos)

We all khusyuk makan, smpi Alya pon dah x diherankan..

Bila perut dah refill, apa lagi.. balik lah.. Kena pimpin si Alya nih. Kalo x, x dan kitorg nak kejar die depan org ramai

Our dinner that night was already included in the package. Since malam tuh the committee ada briefing, so dinner pon die wat hidang terus..

Menu: kurma daging, sweetsour fish fillet and mixed vege.

Yg besh nye activity pagi esoknya. Jreng jeng jeng.. Off to Singapore. Yeay!

Punya lah byk kereta berpusu² nak masuk Singapore through Woodlands.

Enviromentalist sungguh kan? Bukan sbb kutip sampah tp sbb guna bicycle...

Selepas dapat apa yg diidamkan (HR's shirt), kitorg pon terus gi Sentosa Island. And macam biasa, with the help of hubby's excellent navigator who reads map pretty well, we have no hiccups to arrive to Sentosa Island. The entrance fee was SGD 2 per person and additional SGD 2 per car. The fee was deducted from our Auto Pass which thankfully hubby had top it up earlier on.

First destination in Sentosa, tentulah Imbiah..

Peacock during mating season will feel threatned by image seeing by them thrugh well polished car. So, it is one own risk if the peacock so to happen rosak kan your car..
Thank god our car wasn't that shining sbb hubby x sempat nak basuh..

Setelah puas ber'jakun' di Imbiah, we speed up to Palawan Beach sbb kalo ikut schedule akan ada animal show in Palawan Beach and Dolphin Lagoon. Mujur ah nak park kereta pon senang...

Sekali, punya lah panjang daaa org queue to enter the Dolphin Lagoon. Terpaksa ah carry that forward into our next trip.. Hehe.. hint, b! So, supaya x terlepas the 5 pm nye show kat Animal & Bird Encounters, we hop on the FOC beach tram..

After the show, it's beach time!! Alya lah first time dpt mandi laut.. Since I menjawat jawatan camerawoman berjaya, I x join anak beranak nih mandi laut.. Tgk je ah sape yg sebenarnye lebih gian mandi laut. The father or the daughter..

Dah lah selamba je papa die bawak ke tengah, mengekek si kecik tuh dpt mandi laut...

Setelah puas kami berpoya² di Singapore, we headed back to spend anothe night in Tropical Inn. Kesian Kak Inung yg kena accompany my mom since mom x gi amek lagi passportnya.

Esok pepagi, we all dah moved back to KL. In time for lunch in Restoran Yus, Kajang. All of us had chicken porridge and sate..

Si kecik yg sentiasa ceria and active x hengat~

All in all, I am pretty happy with the trip despites there are places which I really wanted to go and amost of all I would really love to shop there. Tp, x per.. in a few months time or perhaps weeks, sure I akan gi lagi, kan B kan? Hehehe.. Lagipon membazir ah autpass tuh kalo xdigunakan~
