Aishah's order of peach cheese cupcakes

Last Friday, Aishah had trusted me to bake her a box of cheese cupcake for her bridemaid's wedding. Since her friend loves cheese cake and do not really favor chocolate, I've decided to bake cheese cupcake with peach as the topping. Susah sungguh rasanya nak pikir meals without chocolate as an ingredient. Hihihi...
Harap²nya Aishah suka lah the cuppies yer..

You may ignore the label yer...

25 pcs peach cheese cupcakes in small souffle cup
I am yet to know what's the verdict of the cuppies... So, let us cross our fingers~

Sesi Makan

After work, we sent mom and Kak Inung to KL Sentral for their train ride to Penang. Stopped by Subway to get them sandwich to be eaten on their way. They both get 6 inch bread each (mom's a parmesan and Kak Inung get herself the honey oat bread) with ONLY turkey breast and cheese. Plain kan? No veges nor any sauce at all... Well, as long as they happy, x kesah lah~

After KL Sentral, we then moved to Berjaya Times Square. Ever since hubby read somewhere in the net stating that the top hit of doughnut is already in town, he has been nagging me to go to Times Square.

Want to know what is that I'm looking at?

Wanna know what is it that makes Alya happy running here and there?

Yeah, it's the Krispy Kreme.
(Part Alya happy tuh not because of the doughnut tp sbb bebas!)

Since it was 15 mins past 8 pm, we decided to pack some doughnuts first before our dinner sbb takut habis stocks. x senunuh tol!. The doughnut cost RM 2++ per piece and RM 23.90 for a dozen of varied doughnut. It's cheaper if you choose only the glazed one. Around RM 19.90. It's situated at Ground Floor. As of now, their only store is in Berjaya Times Square. For more drooling info, you may have a peek here. But all in all, my personal opinion says that their choice is a bit limited and the glaze makes it looks very sweet. Dlm keadaan yg panas gering nih, sweets (read: too sweets) is not that tempting enough. Tp, based on the reviews read in the net, we better just grab all the options they have and give it a try. (read: we did though ignore the cappucino and green tea as we're not that big fan of coffee and tea-flavored food. They've done a great job being a drink only). Nanti I dah makan, I'll give some personal review for it.

Done our main objective, we then headed to the next store for our dinner, the Papa John. They are famous with their pizzas and pastas.

Photos of us waiting for our food, WE WANT FOOD! WE WANT FOOD!

Tapi, yg x beshnya servis sgt super duper lembab!! Ya Allah je lah yang tau lambatnya diorg tuh camner.. Dah ah yg ada dlm restaurant tuh sumer middle east tourist. Malaysian yg ada pon us dgn another couple. Chet tol! Alya pon sempat pecahkan satu pinggan diorg. Malu btol masa tuh rasanya~ In the end, ini lah cara kitorg melepaskan boring menunggu..

Teaching Alya how to snap fingers..

Our first dish, All the Meats 9" thin crust pizza. Cost RM 23.90

Okay, nice, delicious.. Loves the tomato sauce. Pretty awkward bile it was served with the small cili jeruk. Tp, kecik sangat.. Mana kenyang, babe!

Baked Papa's Special pasta. Cost RM8.90

Bekas nampak cam besar tapi, cetek jer.. Aku terpedaya... Tp, taste still sedap!!

Hubby's drink was black coffee while mine just hot chocolate...

Alya: Mama, please feed me..

After Papa John, our next destination was Subway. Grab a 6" Italian BMT with Parmesan bread for our breakfast tomorrow morning. Filling die ada, cheese, pepperoni, turkey ham...

Lepas tuh baru hati senang bley balik~

p/s: kami tidak kuat makan...

Brownies :: Madagascar

Yesterday, Alya has broke her walker... again. And hubby has repaired it also, again... This is Alya's second attempt to break the walker. Let us just see whether will it happen any soonest?

Had done some baking with the cousins, Along and Angah. They had enjoyed baking brownies since it's the most simplest thing to bake. Poor them dtg jauh², but I haven't had time to spend with them.. They would really enjoy some sisters' time~ Even now pon, despite those tiredness at night, they still slip into my room right after I've put Alya to sleep and we'll start chit-chatting.. They have loads to tell especially when they are now in their teen years.

Last night, we watched Madagascar 2 in my room. Hubby was so sporting, he'd left us three (4 if you count Alya). Well, do hope that I could spend more time doing girlish activities with them. Furthermore, I had always enjyed any sisters' time since I don't have any sister...

Anyway, the brownies they bake was supposed to be packed. Just someting for them to eat kat Kuantan since mom an the cousins will be spending their Raya Haji over there. (read: My Raya Haji this time is hubby's side) But then, the brownies x sempat diselamatkan.. Kak Ti came with Yana last night. They were so attracted by the chocolatey smell of the brownies and they urged us to cut the brownies... So, there goes the brownies~ x per lah.. they're now planning to go back to Kuantan on Saturday, so we should have enough time to do some more baking tonight and not to forget decorating it with cream.. Yippeee!!

Terlebih rajin

For the first time in this blog life, I've managed to write a 2nd entry. Dah ah baru tadi sebut I was d**n busy to even have time to do anything, tetibe I'm able to write in 2nd entry laks. Ironic sungguh.

Actually I am very excited to inform that somebody gave me a cute and adorable bear-shaped chocolate cake. And it do look yummy. Will upload the photo once I'm at home. It is a gift from my CEO's wife. Nih kes balas berbalas lah nih. Last raya (2007), she cooked for me rice for my open house. (Ada ker open house kite orang lain yg bawak main dish?) Mmg x patut kan? Anyway, everyone knows that she's a great cook. After 1 year her pots terperam kat my house, I returned in back with a tupperware of Terengganu' version of bubur lambuk. And as for return of my tupperware, she baked for me the cake. And the best thing is, she even decorated her bear cake. You surely need time to do such a thing and she definitely go all the way for it. Thank you so much Kak Nik for the cake. Will update you how's the cake taste like though I am sure the cake will be yummy!

I know the quality of this photo mmg teruk.

Moral of the story: Berazam dalam hati (dengan bersungguh-sungguh) untuk cari masa pergi belajar baking and later cooking from her. She makes it look like cooking and baking is the simplest and fun thing to do.

Not enough time? What a reason~

Have been wanting to write everyday. Even have tons of things to pour in. But then, my only reason is "Too busy, not enough time". Bley ke jawab camtuh?

Anway, I was on leave on Wed. Brought Alya for her follow-up at HKL for a lymph-node near her left armpit. Had lunch at RRC first. I have to tell you that lunch set at RRC is the most worth for value of all. Will tell more on RRC later (bile² I ada mood ek?).

Alya was superbly active as usual. An the lymph node is still there. Her next appoinment will be after 6 months for follow-up, again. Penat tuh tunggu kat HKL. Tunggu 3 jam, check nye 3 minit jer.. Hampeh tol!

Hubby has pot luck on Thursday and he requested me to cook beef lasagna and brownies. So, I baked 3 trays of lasagna and just 1 pan of brownies. Sebab kan terlebih rajin, I even write something on the brownies. Will paste the photos once I berjaya ada masa to transfer it from my phone.

Nah, photos during hubby's potluck (courtesy of hubby)

Clockwise: Cramel Cheese Cake, Mihun Goreng, Mee Goreng, Spagheti Bolognese, Super Fudgy Chocolate Brownies (I yg buat lah tuh), Lasagna (still in wrap) and Beef Pie.
Sebenarnya ada banyak lagi, tp ni je yg sempat di ambil gmbr..
