Ipoh monthly trip

Last weekend we went back to Ipoh (read: hubby's hometown). Supposedly it is our monthly sheduled trip tp last month we had to miss it since hubby was on duty. Mak (read: mak Ipoh), sowwy ek x balik bulan lepas. Salah anak mak gak.

My MIL sbnrnya stay alone je kat umah tuh tp sbb opah dah asyik sakit je skang so mak hangkut die utk stay kat umah mak. More or less, tmpt bermastautin opah dah berpindah 5 minit (read: drive time. Kalo jalan kaki, more or less half an hour gak ah) dari rumah opah je.. Before this MIL ada jaga cucu Makcik Saba, Nuha tp Makcik Saba dah amek cucu die bawak balik last Saturday sbb Nona tgh cuti sem so leh ah jaga. FYI, Makcik Saba is a teacher kat Kuala Terengganu.

Disebabkan a few days before kitorg balik kampung, opah cam dah sakit teruk, dengan jatuh kat toilet laa so MIL panggil all her family to come and visit her. Iye lah.. org tua kan, you never know.. And skang opah's lil sister accompany MIL utk tlg tgkkan opah. Bukan la untuk buat apa sangat. Cuma to teman opah bercakap.

Masa kitorg balik tu, opah nmpk sihat sket. Semangat sbb tgk ramai org kot. Siap leh jalan ke dining table. Dok makan ngan kitorg. Leh main agah ngan cicit die yg asyik x herankan die tuh lah.. It was good!

Korang agak brape lah age Opah? She's actually 83 years old. And OpahChik is just 1 year younger than her. Opah nye sibling nih mmg ah jenis very the petite.. Tuh yg maintain leh bawak diri lagi kot.. Though die dah asyik dok sakit badan, tp Opah x nyanyuk lagi.. She can still see well (cara org tua lah), speaks well, hear well and eat well (tuh yg paling penting)...

On Sunday, we moved pretty early as we has a wedding to catch. Izmi's (read: my officemate) wedding buat kat his parents' house in Kuarters Kerajaan, Jalan Duta. The theme was black and white. Very nice. Tp x da photos sbb xde pelamin.. Alaa sambut menantu kan..

Kat trend wedding zaman skang musti some sort like stalls yg serve desserts, kan? Yg unik at his wedding ialah there is a stall yg serve ice blended mango and choc. Siap ada whipped cream lagi tuh. Tp, I xdan nak merasa the ice blended choc sbb malu nak berebut ngan bebudak. (Dalam pada malu tuh, sempat laks amek ice blended mango~ hik hik hik)..
