HFMD?

Alya has fever since last night. Baru je plan ingat nak bawak die tengok fireworks, tetibe she has fever laks. The fever's getting worst by middle of the night. She kept 'merengek'ing through out the night. It certainly does keep me and hubby awake all night long. Poor hubby as he was supposed to be at his site's office but due to Alya and her fever, he had to call up and informed them that he won't be able to punch in.

During the day time, the fever didn't slow her down. She act actively as ever.

After her morning nap and her afternoon bath (about 4 pm), we noticed that there're red dots appearing all over her hand and feet. We thought that it was just mosquito bites. But then, the red dots are getting more and more noticeable especially around her mouth and her hand. It even appear on her palm. By 6pm, we can't say anything more as the red dots doesn't show any sign to disappear. Browse through the net on information on few possible disease until we're pretty sure that these are symptoms of HFMD. We then decided to bring her to HKL.

After her dinner; which she hardly had more than 3 spoon fed, get her ready and straight away after our Maghrib prayer off to Emergency Dept (read: babies less than 1 year need to be attend by doctors in A&E). Thanks to the cousins, they managed to speed our turn. The doctor took her temp and it was 36.9C which wasn't that alarming. Had difficulty in checking her throat. Rapat btol tu die tutup mulut dier.. Finally, the doctor said, there is sign of HFMD but her lungs is clear and so do the throat. Just need to monitor her fever and if it's still there after 3 days, Alya need to re-visit the Hosp.

These are photos of the red evil dots:

Can you see the red dots on her palm?

And all over her 2 cute lil feet

Up till the knee and even further up more...

Hands till elbow.. All happen within a few hours jer..

The worst... Sure die x selesa kan?

Harap2nye all the red dots will be gone by tomorrow... Amiinnn...

HI there, where are you from?

I represent a disinfectant company supplying disinfectants and cleaners to childcare centers and kindergartens. Currently most of the commercially available disinfectants are not effective against (Coxsackie A virus and Enterovirus 71 (EV71)) or better known as HFMD.

HFMD is a family of non-enveloped viruses. The only commecially available product which eliminates HFMD effectively are common household bleach. I am sure you are not about to spray bleach on your baby's mouth, hands and feet. The other is our product, it is able to eliminate non-enveloped viruses such as HFMD itself.

If you are interested do call me at +6568998643 for more details. We are interested and confident that if your baby uses a little a day on his hands, feet and even mouth her HFMD will be removed quickly.

Rgds,
Alvin Tan

Mr Alvin Tan,
Your comment is highly appreciated. Alya's HFMD is now gone for good. And I am aware that such a disease, they don't have a cure yet. An extra care is all she needs~
