Just came back from a dinner.
Actually the dinner was for mom's committee. Mom is a vice president of Society of the Blind which automatically entitle her to be into one of the council members of National Council of the Blind. (more "for" the blind actually since the only blind member was less than half of the council)
The dinner took place in Restoran Rumahku, a new renovated restaurant in Brickfields as their meeting was in Wisma MAB, Brickfields.
What I don't like in these types of dinners are they tend to get drunks. Wines are a must in every meals and not to forget "Yam Seng!!" Dah lah mom and another uncle (yg x show up today because he's attending meeting in Bali) je yg Malay. Tuh yg mom will drag us all along to accompany her. These guys, when they are drunk, mula lah start singing hair-wired-ly. Mom loves to sing as sing is her passion.. But she'll get annoyed by people who mumble jumble the songs. Unfortunately, that's what happen when they drunk.~
As for tonight, Alya tagged along. When they sing loudly, Alya pon tetibe join to scream gak.. Kelakar tol.. Finally, they ramai² sing Alya's favorite song, "Barney, I Love You".. Alya terus terus terdiam, lepas tuh wat muka sengih ala² malu.. Hik hik hik~
