Went to Wangsa Walk to get Aysar a bangle (with bell) as mom needs it urgently to be able to locate him. Nowadays, he has been good at keeping quiet while being mischievious. But then, thanks to his petite thans standard Asian size, none are fit for him. In the end, Alya laks yg dapat silver bracelet as mom claimed that her anklet doesn't make any sharp sound anymore. Not that she needs any help to locate Alya~

Well, cut to the chase.. We test our taste bud to this cafe, Austin Chase. Love the setting and the waiter/waitress as they are very much helpful and friendly.

The cake... Top layer actually rasa a bit liat macam goreng sket.. Anyway, they have this promo for purchase over RM50, cake got 50% discount.

Mom got herself a caesar salad with salmon @ RM 19.80 and a hot cuppa of lemon tea @ RM 9 (not the English selection - and with extra slices of lemon)

Mom claimed that the salmon tasted a bit salty

Along and I shared Seattle Club Sandwich @ RM 19.90 and Iced Caramel Macchiato (large) @ RM 15.50

The food was very much fulfilling but the drinks was too coffee-ish for me

Though the taste was just average as any other cafe, what stands out this cafe from others would be - they provide family games such as Taboo, Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Uno Stacko and etc... This way, while waiting for the food, guest can enjoy each other company by playing the games and yes, to also kill the time. Memang sempoi laa~

Have you ever used a typewriter before?
Do you even know what is a typewriter?
Hehehe... Bunyi berlagak habis kan?

Anyway, being a daughter to stenographers, I am well exposed to typewriters. I was even started to learn computer long before it was introduced in school (primary school; to be exact).

But then today, I had the chance to use a typewriter in the office. Pelik? Tapi benar.. Though it is an electrical one, but still falls under the typewriter category.. Memang best menaip dengan bunyi yang macam nak announce to the whole building.. And the best part in this electrical typewriter is, it is equipped with the ability not only bold function but also to delete. How cool is that, huh?

As per previous entry, we'd successfully enrol Alya into QDees. Went last Friday to pick up her school bag and reading books and mula la dia excited menggalas begnya ke sana ke mari...

Budak beg melurut~

And officially on Tuesday, 3rd Jan 2012, Alya started her first orientation day at school. Yang sangat nervousnya, as expected would be the mother.. Yeah, I'm that lame!

Started off by sending her to a class on the first floor. The school teachers had decided to combine the class of 3 and 4 years old students during the orientation days. Once settled, parents were ushered to outside of the school for a briefing by the principal (who happen to be my caterer during my wedding! Sungguh berjaya sehingga bley bukak franchise kindy laks kan? BTW, the catering business is still on!). After 30 mins of briefing, we then back to the class to observe on the kids. Macam nak kecik hati, Alya macam tak notice je I was gone.. Hehehe..

At 9.30am, they'd queued up outside the toilet for the teacher to help them with washing their hand before their snack time. Alya mmg bersemangat nak queuing up time nih. Then, off to downstairs. Part nih agak sangat kelam kabut though there were 3 teachers to assist. Malum la budak² at the age of 3 and 4 nih lain macam sket. Alya refused to hold hands as she felt tak selamat kot turun tangga holding hands with friends, and so she was the first came down. Mujur la teacher trusted her and ushered her to the dining area. And lucky for her, she's the only one yg dapat pink set (bowl, spoon and cup). They had nasi goreng with diced of carrot and chicken tapi Alya (yg memang susah nak makan pagi) bley la makan dalam 3, 4 sudu.. Dah la tuh dengan selambanya dia cakap "I only eat nasi goreng with ikan bilis, egg and sambal". Poyos tol! Teacher laks leh cam amazed dengar dia kata makan sambal.. Setakat once in a blue moon bley makan sambal, nak wat announcement camtuh... Huh!

Tapi she was trying to put the colour pencils inside her pencil case. Luckily she took it all out and told me that teacher said, these cannot be brought home.. *phew~

Another activity yg I pon tak tau.. Yg pastinya, she was trying to tie the things together sampai nak menjejeh air liur la tahapnya.. Mujur tak menitis..

For her second day, hubby came up with the design to label her school bag. She was very much proud of it though she wanted it to be more pink. That reminds me to spare some time to come up with a proper design for her.. Err.. not that I disagree with hubby's design or anything~ *rolling eyes~

She'd later forced me into putting her school bag with some glitter on it. And since I malas nak bergaduh di pagi hari, I gave in to that. Got myself red glitter glue and started to trace on the red Q letter. (That way, we can hardly notice the glitter as it is the same colour!) *Pandai tak momma dia? Hihihi.. Later, she asked me to write down with marker (yes, you read it right, MARKER!), "Thank you momma and papa for decorating my bag". Apakah tujuan nya? Of course I won't do it. What does she thinks this is? A bag or a note book? *dang!

Sent her off till the front door, waited for her to take off the shoes and bid farewell. It was one of our attempt to see whether will she be ok and yes, she was very much fine! Alhamdulillah.. She just amin both of our hands, hugs and kiss us before holding to teacher hand and up to her class. She certainly look like a big girl already..

After 2 hours, we popped into her class. She hugged us and back to her activity. Today, instead of combining 3 and 4 years old in a class, the principal decided to separate them into individual class. We couldn't agree more as it'll reduce the influence of those kids yg ada separation anxiety.

There are only 5 students in Alya's class. Alya, a Chinese girl (as brave, active and friendly as Alya), a Malay boy (yg yesterday sat next to her, but today tak bley masuk class sebab dah start tangkap syahdu), an Indian boy (insisted on his aunty to be by his side ALL the time) and an Indian girl (who was at first ok until she saw her father).

Teacher Fatin who is the class teacher nampak sangat friendly and helpful tapi sangat la obvious nya muka fresh and kadang² nampak gak muka panic. InsyaAllah as time goes by, she'll be able to guide my daughter to learn more.. Amiin..

Apa yang Alya dapat hari nih from the school? Err... not the uniform (yet!). It's a badge and she's proud of it! Pengaruh Special Agent Oso~

Kindies hunting

We (well, personally me) have started on kindergarten hunting ever since Alya was just 2 and a half years old. Believed that early education is important besides the social exposure as she stayed at home with only mom and was circled by at least 20 years older than her, we did try hard at getting our hands on ~~many~~ some kindies:

1) Kizsports & Gym
My eyes was first fixed on their Early Learning Academy classes. Had sent Alya for a trial class and memang best. Though it will only be 3 times weekly, it was impossible for us to make it. Dah kelas nya kat One Utama, sape laks nak ngantok ngambik budaknya?

2) IIUM Montessori
Oooo... Talking about this pon can make myself drooling. The distance is perfect. The programs / classes are perfect. The environment is perfect. The teachers are so-so ok. But the price, humang aih! Dah macam student U dah gayanya. With semester fees which when u calculate, average about RM450 monthly. Well then again, what do u expect with such standard, rite?

3) Smart Reader
Programs and advertisements you can find anywhere look exciting and so I searched on more reviews for the specific branch in my area. My oh my... I must say out of 10 reviews I read, 9 mentioned that the teachers were negative thinkers. Memang terima kasih je la kan jawabnya~

4) QDees
Suggested by SIL, we went for a review and agreed that the kindy is ok. The minus point would only be the grey uniform. Grey? What on earth were they thinking?! About to roll her in, mom laks yg kata tak yah laaa.. She is still too young, she's about to get a brother and give her the chance to get to know him laa and so on. And yes, we gave in to that~

Now that she's entering 4 next year, we seriously thinking over on the kindies matter. And of course MORE kindies to be reviewed:

5) Little Caliph
As we do have that intention to enrol her into Chinese school, of course we'd like her to have the Islamic basic first and foremost. There're no review on the franchise in our area but the programs are certainly looking good. Called the principal, she was either sounds uninterested or tak angkat phone langsung. Hello, at least have the courtesy to call back la kalo dah nampak more than 2 missed calls! Dang! Tp takpe lagi.. Nak punya pasal, we all still tak give up. Went to the school straight and paid RM50 for booking. The teachers macam takde masa nak entertain we all, perhaps they were occupied. But when I asked the principal whether do they teach Mandarin, dia bley jawab, "Tak. We all Islamic-based". Bley? Nampak tak negative thinking nya. Apa kalo dah islamic based tak bley blajar bahasa asing ke? Jawab "tak" je pon dah memadai kan? Nih dah tak pasal-pasal I yg ada negative remark on them!

6) Brainy Bunch Islamic Montessori
Programs, best! Reviews, best! Fees, acceptable! Tapi... Takde transportation laks! This time around I memang sangat frust as I love the look of the kindy gak..

7) CIC
Another Islamic kindy yang juga menarik. I was at first bolayan to call the kindy as it is situated at a shop lot. I'm pretty skeptical with kindy on the first floor.. Anyway, the programs are great and teachers pon helpful. Tapi... The class are already full as we're very late already to sign her in! Eeiii... Geram btol!!

In the end, we're back to QDees... Had registered Alya without second thought. Thanks to their three times in a row award winning. Harap-harapnya with the new management and the improved syllabus, Alya can achieve more.. InsyaAllah...

By the way, yes, the uniform is still grey.

Chillies in the house y'all!!

Though we live in a terrace house, we are blessed with a small area for us to plant few vegetables. We tried our hand on some green veges (kai lan, pak choy), long beans, pandan, lemongrass and chillies.

And since we're on leave today and maid is about to leave (for good) this friday, hubby decided to rearrange all the plants. After all, we've left them unattended for the past 3 days.

We've moved our ever growing pandan and hidup-segan-mati-takmau serai to across the road with hope that they'll grow as well as they did before; next to pokok langsuir.. We'd planted papaya tree right across them sometimes before tapi mcm tak membesar pon.. Sama je size as before.. Agak-agak kan, akan ada buah tak from the papaya tree?

The former place for both lemongrass and pandan; which is next to the dustbin will become the new place for the greens. The seed has now come out looking great and we think it is time for them to be placed in a larger area than the pot. I am looking forward for the green so that lepas ni tak yah la we all mengkayakan Tesco lagi.. Hihihi..

As for chilli, MIL found some chilli plants grew at the back of our house and decided to try to plant it together with the flowers.. My oh my, they grew so well and even started to ada chilli already. Hooray!! Nop, we do not have any idea whether itu cili padi or cili besar yet.. Being in a family yang SANGAT suka makan pedas, we'll surely save A LOT kalo the chilli plants sangat berjaya..

Yup, they are for our mini farewell celebration to the Operation Manager, Elene.. She joined in 2006, and was brought in by the former CEO. Those who are not close to her might label her as an outspoken but once you get to know her, you might say she has split personality, hehehe.. Anyway, we were known to be closed though there are ~~tons of~~ times where we just couldn't stand each other. When we were together, no words are required to express what was on our mind. We were like, mind readers.. Only towards each other ya~ That's what keep us clicking! Hihihi.. We were able to convey messages with just a stare, smile or tiny gesture and keep on making people wonder, "what the heck is going on in between of us?" Ooo.. I miss those moment now.. huhuhu~

We have just had lunch there.. About 5 minutes driving distance from my office. Almaklum la, ever since hubby moved to PDN (which is just 5mins away), we've been having lunch together almost everyday.. Kalah zaman bercinta nih~

Anyway, I've been wanting to eat here for quite sometimes tapi hubby refused sebab dia kata sangat la monotonous.. You know, we've tried once kat Prima dulu and the service back then was d*mn slow! Itu yang lama gak la before we have another try.

Ignoring what hubby said, and desperate to eat something different from the familiar places we've been, off we went to Restoran Sekinchan Ikan Bakar.

First, you gotta choose the seafood. Choices range from the variety type of fish to prawn to squid to even shells (lala and kerang). They will then weight it as price differ based on the weight. Lebih kurang macam makan kat Pelabuhan Klang kan? And not just that, you also got to choose vegetables and weight them too.. Hahaha.. Tang tuh funny sket~

So, our choice today was squid, lala and grey oyster mushroom. And as expected they were all cooked in the very same way, which is bake / steam and poured the very same sauce.. I know, I know, enough complaint as hubby had pre alarmed me but then again, mushroom cooked in the same way? You gotta be kidding me! And no, I didn't take any picture of it.. *Buhsan~

All in all, I was ok with it.. Ye la.. Finally something different kan? But should have ajak orang lain sama as it'll be boring to eat this kind of food with only two of us~

Hmm.. alang-alang dah citer pasal the restaurant, buat la sket promosi to help them as masa we all makan tadi cuma ada 3 tables je occupied sampai hubby leh kata, "Diorg tutup kot yang".. Hampehs!

For RM 4 per complete set, I would say pretty reasonable. For those who have not tried yet, you should go ahead! Something definitely need a try but not to be repeated (especially not in the nearest future)..

Tut tut Tutti Frutti

While we're having our dinner last night, all of a sudden mom menyebut nak ke Tutti Frutti. She has been wanting to go there eversince Tutti Frutti is open in Prima but we'd delayed the trip. First, mom has diabetic and it is pretty high and so we'd like to control it; at least a bit... Second, this is also happen to be Alya's fav but we usually will try our best to avoid sweet and cold things to be given to her; especially at night. Who'd want all the excess energy, right?

Hilang mengidam; buat sementara waktu..

To those who doesn't know what the heel is Tutti Frutti; it is basically a cafe serves frozen yoghurt with condiments (bley?) in a DIY way. There usually at least 6 to 10 types of yoghurt available depending on the store. The one in Prima serves 8 types of yoghurt ranging from original, vanilla, death by chocolate, guava, strawberry banana and err.. I could not remember anymore~ *toing!

Indulging.. Ni baru betul tak pandang kiri, kanan..

So, what you gotta do first is, choose your cup. Trust me, the size doesn't really matter when it come to pricing nor when you start to fill it in. It's like you'll lose control over your hand. I tell you, the place is definitely haunted!

Puas paksa makan! Sibuk je nak main perang dalam ipad!

Done that, move on to the best part; the topping! There'are wiiiiiide selections to choose from.

1) sweet treats (which is so irresistible) such as m&ms, choc chips, almond nibs, almond slices, gummy bears, marshmallows, oreo cookies and so on.. If I'm not mistaken, there are at least 12 selections! Owh my! *mau pengsan buleh bah?
2) slices of fruit; perhaps just to emphasize that having yoghurt is so healthy (yeah, right!). But then again, what is yoghurt without fruits, aite? Some of the norm fruits serve are lychees, longans, kiwis, strawberries (budak yg sangat suka pink and kunun suka strawberry tuh memang hampeh!), and bananas.

3) dried toppings seperti cornflakes, cocoa crunch, love letters.. Eh, ni makan yoghurt ke makan topping je nih?
4) sweet sauce - Hershey's definitely! They have chocolate, strawberry and caramel (huh?)

Wah wah wah.. Heaven ek Alya?

Seeing the above, will you now believe that our usual purchase per cup can go up to RM 30?! *lap peluh!

Selak topping pon tak tentu nampak yoghurt lagi..

All in all, everyone enjoy the treat including Aysar and maid.. Hihihi.. Rest assured, the next trip ain't going to happen in the nearest future~ yoodle-lay-hee-hoo...

A-year-old-toothless-baby-to-be

My baby boy, Shami Aysar is going to be one year old veeeeery soon.

He is one very cheeky boy! Still breastfeed, Alhamdulillah.. Each time he sees me, mula la bunyi ngada-ngada tuh.. Whenever he couldn't get what he wants, he'll come to me and start lying down.. Paham-paham je la kalo dah camtuh kan?

Eats a lot though his weight says the opposite (*sigh). Baby talk a lot. Oh my, does he really talk~

Now that he can walk steadily, he 'helps' us to clean up around the house! Poor Alya yang towards the end, had to really clean up.. There was once that Alya had to clean up twice! Alya pon mula membebel kat adik dia, "Aysar ni!" Hehehe.. But still, she clean up~ Thanks darling!

Underneath pokok kelapak, I will wait for you..

Alya is already keep our hands full with her activeness and creativeness and we used to think how hard can a boy be? Heh, boys are certainly cannot be compare.. Am not so sure if it's because he's younger than Alya.

Mangsa bulian.. But still tak serik²~ Lepas tuh wat muka kesian kat momma dia.. Huhuhu..

We (Hubby, specifically) used to scold Alya but she learnt there and then what's not! While this little cheeky boy of mine, would then imitate the way people scold him! Aiyak!

Kakak used the table as a goal post while Adik selamba naik, duduk atas.. Chilling sambil tukar channel.. Urghh!!

He is such a total opposite compare to Alya, his sister. But no matter how different could both of them be, my love towards them could also not be comparable~

We arrived home before 4pm yesterday and went out again to Ampang to buy mom's jubah for Shitah's wedding. Mmg full swing namanya..

By 9pm je, Alya dah selamat~ Tapi En Aysar? Huh, pusing ligat lagi! Sedangkan he's the one yg mula-mula buat perangai pelbagai kunun ngantuk. Aiyaaa!!!

Main ball memang dah cukup boyish.. Tapi, colour pink tuh yang tak tahan~

Even dalam gelap pon dia tak peduli...

Mr Hubby laks membantu I dengan projek, Aysar's first birthday.. People who know me sure tau yang when it comes to birthday, mine would come with a theme.. And what is my theme this time? Make your lucky guess~

We're on our way to JB. And biasa la kalo jalan jauh sure ah momma ngantuk mahu sleep gitu. Kakak dah terkorban dalam pada keep on repeating that she doesn't want to sleep and doesn't feel sleepy at all.. Sedar-sedar tak sampai 5 minutes later, shut down!

As for Adik. Widely awake! Now in the restless phase where he couldn't stay still. Dengan mulut yang non stop nya tambah lak dengan kaki tangan yang aaaasyik nya nak bergerak. Yang tak tahan nya, bila tak dapat apa yang dia nak, mula la jerit macam kena pukul. Adik dengan kakak, sama je drama siblings! And bila let him have what he wants, he'll start to throw things all over the place..

Mula-mula dia jumpa dia nye boots.. Lepas dia belek-belek sampai buhsan, dia BUANG!

Bila la agaknya adik nak go to lala land ni?

Oooh I love Friday! Err.. Of course there are times when I just hope the Friday never come. When it's the end of the month or I got group departing on the weekend - that is!

Anyway, it has been quite sometimes since the last time we packed for a getaway. Yeah yeah we did went to Universal Studios Singapore last weekend but it was just a day trip. So we didn't go through the hassle of packing that much stuff. (Read: with 2 children, going to a house next 2 doors for more than an hour still require a preparation, hokay! Perhaps because we're a fussy parents who wants everything to be within reach~) Besides, we usually have this routine of going back to hubby's hometown every month. But for the past few months, we've missed the routine. MIL laks yang slalu turun KL...

This weekend we'll be accompanying mom who'd have a meeting in JB. No plan as at now besides lazing around the hotel and enjoying the facilities ie swimming pool. Oooh gotta plan with hubby on how will it be for us to check the sauna room (since maid won't be following...)

Though we solely speak English with Alya, she still picks up Malay well. Now she even know what is English and Malay and even know how to differentiate it besides being able to speak rather well in both language. Err.. I must admit that her Malay comes with a slang and sometimes tend to be direct translation from English but never pelat!

Both me and hubby were speaking Malay (as usual) when Alya suddenly,
"Momma, Papa, why both of you speaks Malay? You have to speak English!" Toiing!!!!

Parah, parah.. Hubby had just downloaded two games yang menguji fitness kami sekeluarga. Both using different method yet sungguh berjaya dalam membuat kan berpeluh hingga ke malam hari. And as at now, even nak menaip pon I rasa cam dah tak berapa nak larat..

Yang ini best as it is fun. Tambah laks dengan if you did well, you'll be given up to 3stars for each steps. And when you dance dua orang, the heat is on bebeh! Hihihi.. And whoever la yang slalu nak nyebuk bila I dance kalo tak lain dan tak bukan, Ms Alya I tuh... Yang tak tahan nya, Aysar laks yang getting over excited. Siap pandang TV and tangan leh swing according to the moves tuh (one simple move only d'uh!).. Terganggu konsentrasi I! Kalo ini macam hari-hari, memang la boleh kurus and back in shape momma diorang nih. Tapinya, boring ah kalo sekadar dance seorang or lawan ngan Alya je~ En Hubby I tuh main gerak tangan je sambil bontot kesayangan nya melekat kat kerusi depan PC. Aiyaiya!!

Serius scary tengok muka minah nih.

We did try a few of the exercises guided by Ms Jillian-serious-looking-Michaels each and my oh my, memang habis rasa nak cramp kaki dan tangan lembut kami nih. The best part was, the game comes with a resolution mode either set by Jillian or you can even manually set it up. But this (I think!) requires daily involvement for 6 months. Terus dengan rasa tak bersalah I quit sebab rasa cam mana nak ada masa untuk komited pada benda alah ni. Lama-lama bila pikir-pikir balik, each exercise actually took us less than 5 minutes to do so. Jadi, apa lah yang payahnya? Nanti-nanti bila I rasa bersemangat I might start creating my resolution supaya hasrat I untuk kembali sslim mlim-macam-anak-dara tercapai instead of just "niat" aje.. Apa alasan diva-diva zaman skang? I perlukan kata-kata semangat laa.. Auwww!!

Till then, mari pergi mencari semangat untuk ber'workout' secara serius! After all, dah brape banyak jimat duit hubby dari kena sign up Fitness First itew~

We have been in love with Big Bad Wolf gang ever since we've met Excess Book Store in Amcorp Mall. I tell you, the books there are darn cheap!

Then, they've organized a SALE and claimed it as the biggest book sale in the WORLD! (which I think ya kot~) Memang rambang biji mata I masa tuh and we spent I think about RM 100++ for more or less 10 books. It was held in MAEPS and with such a vast area memang x nampak crowded (except for the fact that we are st*pidly enough to go at night yang berjaya membuat kan I tak cukup masa nak browse laaagi banyak buku!)

In conjunction with 300,000 books left to be cleared after the SALE, they come up with an AFTERMATH SALE. This time around, it is done in South City Plaza with price ranging from RM 5 and BELOW! Yup, you read it right buddies! RM 5 and below...

Now dah percaya?

Sungguh la ramai umat nya nak² plak bila beratur untuk bayar... Definitely it'll take you more than 1 hour!
So what we did was, the moment amek je 1 box of buku, terus hubby beratur while I went and search for more~

Tons of books waiting to be sold including Nigella Christmas. Can you imagine Nigella Christmas for max RM 5?! *pengsan!

The only section yang I sempat bertapa SAHAJA! Itu pon tak habis belek..

Mujur gak Aysar tido which ease me in browsing~ Thanks hubby for lining up while carrying him..

We brought the stroller along initially to put Aysar in tapi tetiba laks Alya kata takmo jalan.. Dari nak kena pikul 17kg tuh, baik strapped her to the stroller which memudahkan kami bukan tak yah lah susah payah mengejar dia here and there, kan?

Another good thing was, we can just put the box full of books nearby her while looking for others. But the moment my box beranak jadi 2 boxes while cousin have 1 box for herself only, terpaksa la melepaskan Alya and dumped the boxes on the stroller. We then just had to monitor Alya yang baru berpeluang nak browse through..

A Besar A Kecik

Less than 30mins before I can clock out tp tetibe je perasaan rindu pada anak-anak membuak-buak pulak.. Apa je la agak nya yg diorg dok buat with their beloved cousins~

Last time I check this morning, all 4 of them were watching Upin Ipin while Aysar dok wat hal sendiri~

Ooh I tell you, my boy is obsess with balls! Even when he saw balloon, he'll call "Ba!"

Ini budak baaaaanyak suka makan + membebel!!

Unlike Alya at the age of 11 months, Aysar can
1) wave bubye
2) flying kiss (though lama je palm to his mouth sambil lidah terkeluar cam sedap sangat)
3) hello~ the gesture can be done either using handphone (terbalik), TV remote, phone casing his hand or even other people's hand
4) call out "Ba!" whenever he sees ball or balloon
5) call out "Ca!" for cats. Bunyik lebih macam "kheh"
6) his walking step pon dah makun banyak but he's too lazy to stand up on his own bila jatuh terduduk and he starts crawling again. Unless we put him standing up, laju je he walk especially when he chase after ball or kakak riding bike. (sambil mulut membebel tanpa henti)
7) ooohh he loves to baby talk! Macam2 sound dia bley kuarkan especially bila naik kereta. Setakat blabbering throughout 15 mins journey tuh memang takde masalah la buat Aysar

As for Alya, her English is waaaaay better compare to her father! Oops sorry b, I'm just telling the truth. There are times when she wants something that is impossible, she would just say, "ooh.. I wish I have wings like that so I can fly high up in the sky" sambil buat gaya bukan sekadar terbang tapi dengan muka penuh harapan dan berangan yang akan menyebabkan her momma macam nak lempang sila-sedar! Excuses pulak dah macam cair di mulut~ But all of these are done in her adorable way yang macam mana sakit hati pown tetap buat momma geram nak cubit pipi and cium puas-puas...

Macam mana tak rasa geram dengan budak ini? How?! HOW?!!!

My favourite cousin and her whole family is here since Saturday! Hooray!!
Err.. no offense other cousins as I love all of you except for this one particular cousin has more similarity with me compare to the rest of you~ Maybe because we share the same birthdate (except for the year only, of course!)

They arrived after Maghrib last Saturday and will stay to help Alya & Aysar in turning the house upside down till Thursday. And when they're around, it only means that there'll be so much fun happening now and then.

First activity on Saturday night was making sure our mind and body fit to face the kiddos by playing Wii. We played bowling and tennis and I think Tiah and Sobri only wrapped out the session at midnight. Hahaha..

For the weekend we went to the most famous car boot sale ever; in Stadium Shah Alam. Sungguh la ramainya manusia over there that it felt like ada Karnival Sure Heboh laks.. Huhuhu.. Didn't take any picture sbb tak tahan dengan cuaca yang sangat panas membara. Alya and I got ourselves some henna painting on our left hand. And then, we bought a floral shirt at RM 25 and a big colourful aka rainbow-coloured umbrella at RM 15. Notice how I used the word "we" utk tak menampakkan yang hasil tangkapan ada lah untuk kepentingan I semata? Hehehe...

Setelah kasihankan Aysar yang bersungguh² mengontrol macho di dalam stroller di bawah panas terik, we then decided to let the kids have some fun. After all, they've been quite great not to give us any tantrum show while we dragged them...

Off to Empire Shopping Gallery to check out another branch of Kizsports & Gym. Of course we then had to fill in the tummy as we've expected for the kids to go wild! For simple food, mengenyangkan dan open space (easy to handle the kids so they won't disturb others), we chose Nyonya Colours. After stuffing each kid with nasi lemak and a bottle of drinking water which then thanks to Sobri for highlighting to us the the drink consists of more or less 3 tablespoon of sugar. Gula tebu tahu? Pandai diorg market the drink dgn "No preservative sweetener"! Of course ah we all cuma nampak perkataan "preservative" instead of "sweetener" itew~ D*mn!

Seeing how energetic the kids was, pantas je we all ke Kizsports & Gym. Let the picture tell the story...

Today we had my company's first ever bowling tournament at I-Bowl Brem Mall Kepong. I only managed to get my hands on bowling once, 5 days before the tournament. And my oh my, my hand felt like about to cramp for 2 days. Nampak no dah lama beno tak pegang the bowling ball!

I think there were about 8 to 10 teams competing today and our lane was in the middle. It was sure tensed when we heard people screaming "Strike" everywhere! And so of course I couldn't believe when Dilla called me that we won 2nd place. (I left early to pick Tiah up from Bandar Tasik Selatan)

Abg Hairul was sure the star of the team as he scored averagely 130++. Wan was not bad either with I think score around 100++ as well. My score for 1st frame was 83, 2nd was only 71 but I scored 91 on the last frame. Hooray!! Itu pon sebab I used ball no 10 instead of my usual 7! <-- Err.. As if I could score higher~ Dilla was actually ok with score averagely around 70++ as well.

Nampak gayanya, we have to find some time to gilap bakat I main bowling nih.. Eceh~

Our all-time fav would be the Lamb Chop. Hubby even dare to name it as "The Best Lamb Chop in Town"! FYI, they used to have Sirloin Steak part of the menu. Can you imagine, Sirloin Steak for just RM 15++?! Incredible hey?

Starter would be baby soft bun, salted butter and cream soup of the day. No forgetting FREE flow of either orange juice or chinese tea.

My version of lamb chop includes black pepper sauce. But then, the sauce is just so-so~

Hubby's prefer it to be plain. Just tartar sauce to accompany the steam veges and to be eaten with fries.

Do you notice that they served not just a piece of lamb but usually 2 to 3 pieces at one! Since the meat is so tender and juicy, even Alya claimed it as her fav.. With the price they offered, this is definitely a worth deal!

The place was introduced by mom and remains as one of her fav place to go regardless it's lunch or high-tea. She and her friends even once organized a wedding reception for one of her friends here.. Tak tau la I kalo my mom tuh ada share with the cafe yang dia rahsiakan dari I~ Tp one thing for sure, each time my mom (or any blind person) requested for western set, they'll cut it into small pieces and provides spoon instead of knife. Ain't life easy for them? Camne la diorg bley tak terjatuh hati kalo camnih sampai tahap di pamper...

Back then, the local set was at RM6++ and western set at RM10++. The potion remains the same except instead of the mixed vegetables, they now changed to steam fresh veges, which is even better! And further more, they've just reopen from major renovation which now gives more classy look!

Istana Negara

Yesterday marked another historical event in Malaysia as the former Istana Negara located at Jalan Istana has been closed. Quoting from The Star, "After serving for 54 years, Istana Negara at Jalan Istana here, which is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, ended its function officially on Tuesday with pomp and pageantry".

Can you believe that I almost shed my tears by just watching it from the daily 8pm news? It is not because I do not like the shifting, it's the procedure with full of protocol... and wow! The current YDP Agong has never failed to amaze me with his patience to restore the tradition. Do you even know that during his installation as the YDP Agong, he insisted for the invitation letters to other Kings are to be written in Jawi? I should find time and google more on this since he's scheduled to pass the throne to the 14th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah of Kedah in December.

I have always been amazed with Malaysia's royalty. Since Malaysia practise democracy instead of monarchy system, people might not really into the royalty. Unlike me, I always find them as grand and sacred.

I got goosebumps with butterfly in the stomach each time we enter Kuala Kangsar or even passed by Jalan Istana. Just by being present in any royalty area make me felt honoured. As at now, I only have the opportunity to understand Perak's royal family and so yes I do look high upon them.

Cepat la Alya besar so I can share this with her and perhaps explore more about Malaysia's royalty together...

Tambah Telur

Nasi lemak.. Everyone (especially Malaysian) knows what is it and what is it included. Not other than nasi lemak itself, kacang + ikan bilis goreng, sambal, boiled egg and cucumber. Other than this will just act as side~

Pagi ni, since I have no other choice, I ended up buying nasi lemak from "gerai bawah pokok". Who's familiar with my area sure tau the only gerai bawah pokok nearest to the new Tawakal Hospital.

They were not ready with other meals and so only plain nasi lemak was available this morning. As usual I took kacang + ikan bilis, sambal and half of the boiled egg. No, no cucumber for me.

Me: Akak, kira..
She: nasi lemak je kan?
Me: a'ah! (sambil senyum macam la ada other option~ d'uh!)
She: Seringgit setengah.
She: ada amek telur?
Me: ada kak, separuh.. (d'uh again)
She: kalo ada telur, dua ringgit!
Me: biar betul kak..
She: kalo kosong seringgit setengah, tambah telur jadi dua ringgit..

What the fun!! Akak ni pakai telur organik ke apa?

My mistake was I x plak cakap, "kalo takde timun ni tolak brape lak?"

5 steps

After a few months of standing up, he'd started his first step last month. Tp, it remain at only 1 step at a time. Perhaps he has yet to find the courage to move forward. Tambahan pulak dengan tengok kakak yang asyik macam lipas kudung, he felt that it is better for him to crawl while chasing after kakak then unsteady steps.

But then, yesterday bibik claimed that he'd tried to move 2 steps during the day. As usual, whenever we arrived at home, he will rush to the door to welcome us while kakak will hide at the very same spot to surprise her (trust me, it is not a surprise at all after hiding at the very same place for more than 3 months!).

I then will hug adik as usual, while hubby creatively tried he's very best to ruin kakak's surprise. But still, kakak will keep on saying "Surprise! Happy birthday momma!" Kalo tiap² hari wish happy birthday to me, mau my age jadi 100++ dah jawabnyer..

When I put adik down as he wanted to play with kakak, he stand up steadily and started to walk! Me and bibik were like stumped and hooray when he sat after 5 steps. Gila rasa cam teruja habis!! He was like "Lantak la korg nak hooray pon" sbb he was chasing his kakak~

Agak² will he be able to beat Alya x as Alya had started to walk 1 week before she turned 1?

Playground @ Fruityland Jusco AU2

In a mission to berjimba² bersama keluarga sebelum meninggalkan mereka (yeah, this is a back-dated post!), we went to Jusco AU2 Setiawangsa after work; which is after 8pm already. Nak wat camner, each time I'm scheduled to be off from the office, surely there are tonnes of things to be settled and handed over. Itu pon dapat lepaskan diri awal because there's no one wanted to stay back beside me~

Dengan alasan nak recce playgym (as read from Kak Aishah's blog), we headed to the Jusco. Once reached there only we realized that it has been ages since the last time we went there. Uuu I lurve the park! Alya kept on saying "How I wish I could shower here..." Should put note somewhere to remind us to come here again with the camera!

After making biiiiig round around the stores, we chose to park ourselves in Fruityland as there is mini playground in the cafe which is such a bonus for us. Both Alya and Aysar enjoy themselves that we had to practically drag them out. Alhamdulillah there was only another family in the cafe and both kids did not put on a big drama.

Safe and Sound

Hye all!! Wee.. cam glamour you~

Anyway, am back to work today though I'm longing for a break after the 6 days journey.

Arrived at KLIA at 5pm last Sunday and went straight to Norsha's house for Eid' Adha's celebration. Pergh, nikmat tol dapat consume Malaysian food! Melampau statement, kan?

Spent yesterday with the kids kat Ikea as I can't get my head out of the Daim Cake and lepas kan gian nak bershopping (nampak no x puas menghabiskan duit kat Beijing). Sent the two kiddos (Amirah & Eka) back to BMI before off to Alpha Angel laks to get something mom needed.

Though we reached home at almost 9pm, I was still able to urge hubby for a supper treat kat Old Town. Mmg btol² nya chocolate fiesta I smlm.. I've ordered for 1 Ice Chocolate and 1 Hot Chocolate! Macam tamak pon ada.. Huhuhu..

Itulah bahana tinggalkan Malaysia 6 hari.. Ni sume gara² unable to get stock of 3 in 1 hot choco kat Beijing tuh~

Will surely update on my Beijing trip as need to recall the details for my report ASAP. As at now, mari kita jalan² cari makan, lepas gian...

I'm scheduled to be in Beijing for 6 days but I won't be able to update the blog due to some restriction by the government. It seems like no access would be possible to neither fb nor blogger. But hubby had done some setting (god knows what) for me to be able to update my fb.

I'll be in Beijing due to a familiarization trip organized by Cathay Pacific. This 6 days trip includes hotels inspections, meeting with travel agent and sightseeing around Beijing.

Playgroup - Food (Class 1)

To tell you the truth I'm actually looking forward for Alya's third class last Saturday as it'll be the start for Module "Food". Teacher Shafiza dah hint yg later they'll have visit to either Pizza Hut or KFC. There's mother who'd opt for KFC but honestly, I'm more interested in Pizza Hut as they'll have more chance to perhaps come up with their own version of pizza (with loads of cheese, please...)

Anyway, since last Saturday was also the day of Wan Nur Khadijah's aqiqah (Kak Ti's 2nd daughter) and Yana's engagement, mom had ordered apam polkadot. Knowing that, Alya urged me to order extra for her to bring to her class.. Memang sungguh excited, kembang² lubang hidung bila she passed the colourful apam to Teacher Shafiza.

As usual, the class started with the reading of Ummul Kitab, Al Fatihah (and Alya miming reading it macam la dia tau..)

Then, they stand up and sing the song "Good Morning".. But this time around, Alya agak berani. She stood up and singing though banyak nye nyanyi macam tuju lagu kat I~ The other girl (yes, x ramai yg dtg kelas ari tuh), Aleesya, pemalu pulak. Mungkin dia jadi reserved sbb tgk Alya yg tetiba terover-exposed lak that day..

Bila teacher read book about "Gifts from Allah", both girls mmg btol² nya ngadap teacher. And for the first time, Alya berani dok jauh dari I dalam kelas tuh.. In the story teacher explained that all food comes from Allah through mediums such as honey comes through bees, eggs though hens and milk though cow. When teacher mentioned honey, Alya diam je as dia x berapa terdedah kepada honey.. Tapi, bila teacher sebut pasal "egg", laju je dia "My favourite!". Siap dgn gaya² pelbagai~ Bila ckp pasal milk apa tah lagi! Tp, she was a bit stumped bila dia nampak ada gambar an auntie milking a cow. Ye la, theoritically dia tau la yg milk comes from cow tp x penah la nampak in action.. Gambar tuh pon actually just an illustration tp cukup wat dia tercengang~ Hehehe... Skang nih asal tanya food comes from where, laju je dia jawab "Comes from Allah!" So, kita kena rephrase the sentence to the food comes through what.

Bila dah cerita pasal honey, egg and milk, musti la kena tunjuk kan? Teacher Shafiza pown brought out a bottle of honey, one hard-boiled egg and boxes of Dutch Lady Choc Milk (kids size). Alya laju je "me! me! me!" bila Teacher tanya sape nak pegang the egg. Macam jakun laks budak tuh~

And the best part after that, Teacher let them make sandwich. She gave 2 slices of bread each, a fruit jam (which initially Teacher bagi Alya apricot and Aleesya strawberry, tp Alya gi switch tanpa rela dgn Aleesya smpi Teacher terpaksa bagi another strawberry jam kat Aleesya), slices of cheddar cheese, honey and egg+mayonnaise.

Dan dgn penuh ke'kekok'an nya, Alya spread the jam on the bread. Baru 3, 4 kali stroke, dia dah x mo continue and keep on bagitau dia nak eat the egg. In the end Teacher terpaksa gak bagi sbb asalnya egg tuh cuma ada satu and segan la kan nak bagi dia makan sorg.. Seronok dia dapat kopek the eggshell sendiri and btol² dia makan sungguh². I had to curi half from her to give to Aleesya yg dok tgk je Alya makan.. Dgn poyo je Alya leh cakap, "you have to use knife to cut"!

10 years of courting

Yesterday marked the 10th years of our courting anniversary.

Alhamdulillah, till to date we are still fairly in love though ada macam² cabaran.. And of course I lah yg selalu nya rasa nak give up tuh kan? Hehehe... Asal gaduh sket je mula la imagine camne kalo I memula tak accept him into my life laa, nak lari sembunyik jauh² laa, nak mintak ce**i laa (nauzubillah!).. Tp, Allah has blessed me with him yang sabar je bila I merepek meraban cenggituh.. Kalo lah dia tuh jenis mudah jumpy (macam each time dia tgk bola), sure dah lama dah we all tidak sebegini~

Anyway, thank you Allah for letting us be together and compliment us with two adorable and handful kids. Not forgetting by blessing us with the life we have now..

Insya Allah by seeing how far we've come today make us appreciate each other's company more. There are still loads of areas where we can improve our life more sehingga kehidupan lebih dirahmati, Insya Allah!

Alimkids Playgroup

Today is Alya's second day joining the playgroup. Since next year we're gonna enrol her into kindergarten, we've decided to let her socialize. After a few searches through the net, we got to find out on this playgroup.

It is open for kids from 2 to 4 years old. Modul dia pon sume based keagamaan. Mmg best as I have intention to send her into Chinese School later on.

Anyway, so far ni Alya still dok melekat lagi kat I bila dalam kelas though se has started to enjoy the class activity. She sing, dance and draw tp sekejap2 dok atas riba I. Apa kes tuh? Hehe..

Nanti2 I'll update on details of this playgroup in case ada yg berminat gak nak hantar their children~

Hand expressing

I was expressing as usual using my Medela In Style when I suddenly noticed sprays of blood coming from my left B. Masya Allah punyalah terkejut rasanya as I xde la rasa sakit yg unusual.

FYI, few days back I did notice there was one blocked dot on my left B and dgn beraninya I gi kopek bendalah tuh.. But then, right after doing that, mmg memancut-mancut my milk from the spot and terus hilang my gorge. Tapi, am not sure whether was the blood coming from that very same spot since I was panic at that moment. Apa yg pastinya, it has been 2 days since the day I did the 'pinching' thing!

Anyway, I then decided to see my forever ever gynae Datin Dr Kamaljit Kaur from Bangsar Women Specialist. She scanned and found out that mmg ada internal wound. She then advised me to give my left B a rest and should it engorge, express it using hand je...

Bayangkan la apa je yg dirasai when you can only feed your child from one B je.. Mmg rasa mcm dah lembik dah my right B sbb asyik dia je yg kena supply. As my left B, sampai je rumah at about 11pm, mmg bermula la operasi hand expressing.

Mula-mula mmg sangat kekok but towards the end bila dah mula nampak sprays of milk, baru ah mula rasa semangat! Kira cam nampak light of hope la.. Hubby siap tolong pelbagai dari tolong pegang bottle sampai ke tolong massage sampai ke bagi kata-kata semangat! Hehe...

It took me one hour to get 3oz yesterday but just 30mins this morning.. Semakin maju kan?

I hate Bunny!

Being an obsessive towards pink colour, Alya adores Bunny; one of the cartoon character from "Dibo the Gift Dragon" series.

Unfortunately, this character tends to also potray some characteristics that I do not wish to be in Alya such as:

suka memerintah! kira ala² her wish is our command laa...
she has the last word
everything HAS to be her way
everything HAS to be pink
kalo we refuse, selamba je dia "Huh!" --> sungguh menyakitkan hati!
kalo kita x mo obey her orders, she'll say "That's not fair!" Macam la she even understand what 'fair' means!

At first mmg dah say bubye to blogger tp seeing Aysar (my second child; whoever wonder) growing up day by day, rasa ruginya x jot down his progress and not to mention Alya yg just could not be any cheekier.

And so, here I am determined to write again! Hmph!

P/s: Eversince I've been assigned in this new unit, my busy level is pretty hiiiiiigh.. Serious!

Day 5 - ICU

Yes, she is still in ICU but she's recovering very well must I say. She had been trained to sit on chair instead of bed as part of rehabilitation. She was supposed to be on the chair for the whole day but her back ache so much that she had to get them to put her on the bed again. With she not allow to lie straight I'm pretty sure her back ache like nobody business. There was even physiotheraphist to teach her some simple exercise. And as promised, they did put her on ventimask. But instead of every 4 hourly, they let her on the ventimask for the whole day. Walla!!

On top of the recovering session, she also was given porridge as dinner and her liquid intake is upgraded to 150ml/3 hourly. She only ate 2 spoons of porridge as she hate chicken. Urgh.. the porridge do smell nice and tempting.. Tp, sbb malu I x makan taw~

Dr from Nefro came and tell her that she won't be needing any dialysis anymore. Hooray!! So, now, she must really improve on her breathing as well as her sugar intake as I noticed they put her on some sort of insulin.

All in all, I'm feeling much better seeing her condition getting on well~

Day 4 - ICU

I had to remove mom's Bipap while wiping her face and lips. Alhamulillah.. She was able to breath properly. But still the nurse said it musn't be too long. Though she had started to drink water, there are still certain limit of liquid allowed. She also can talk well and had started maing jokes dah pown~

In the afternoon, they had to do 2nd dialysis as her toxic level in blood went up high again. This time around it was for 4 hours instead of 2 hours the first time. And the best part was, instead of bipap, she had changed to use ventimask. It shows that her breathing is improving.

But during the afternoon visiting hours, ramai laks her friends yg visit her and since she talked a lot, she was breathless and so they've changed back to Bipap. Rupa²nya, the changes in the breathing equipment was just a start to prepare her to breath without assistant. They were thinking to only put her in ventimask for 2 hours and should things went well, they'll add another hour. And yes she did well all the 3 hours (actually almost 4 hours).

I've managed to talk to her doctor-on-call and according to her, since she's very much improving, they're going to use ventimask for every 4 hours for 4 hours long each session. Isn't it great? But still, to be back to normal, she might need 2 to 3 more days in ICU. On top of that, they might even try to feed her porridge tomorrow and see how things go...

As for the dialysis, the Dr also highly convinced that her kidney might just has acute kidney problem instead of total failure as they've suspected before. Which is good because that means the dialysis won't be in for permanent session.

They're planning for an echo session next week to see oxygen level in her heart and according to the Dr, it is a normal practise.

Well, I must say that she's been doing well so far and I'm seeing everything positively now.

Hospitalized

Mom has been having constant diarrhoea on daily basis from morning till 1pm. When she mentioned it to the Drs during her usual check up at the PC, HKL, they said it is normal.

Last Tuesday, mom wasn't feeling well.. The diarrhoea went on till night. In fact till the next morning. She was flat on her back and could hardly move. Dinner had to be served on bed.

DAY 01

Wednesday morning, she was still lying flat that we had to urge her for a clinic visit. She was at first insisted for me to just call Dr and get her medication. After we insist, she drank a cup of plain milo and off we went to family clinic.

Dr jab her to stop all the diarrhoea and checked her bp. It was 78/50++, d*mn low! He adviced us to bring her to HKL for a drip. Drop by to fetch Abg Din as he works in A&E and he'll help us to speed the process.

After a thorough quick scan at the A&E, they realized that mom's sugar level was only 1.3. It was a panicked situation as they raced to feed her glucose and still with her low bp, they admitted her. We were trying to get her into 1st class but failed due to her unstable condition. She was still weak but concious.

At the ward, after a few check ups, she still felt dizzy and toilet visits are all by the help of wheelchair. During one of the check up by the HO, she vomitted. That was then, they decided to shift her to acute section, right in front of the counter where they're able to close monitor her.

Bp and sugar level was surely closed monitor with every 15 minutes frequency. Still until 4.30am, her bp could only go high till 90 with bp went up and down. They went panic twice as the sugar level was below 3. Dr-on-call tried to wire in for a dialysis as her toxic level in blood was high but failed. Due to lack of experience must I say. Huh!

DAY 02

They'd injected her periodically with fluid to increase her bp level. 5.0ml. Alhamdulillah... It managed to come up to 110 after a few hours. Noon, Dr from Nefro came to prepare her for a dialysis. They were pretty cautious as she didn't urinate well. Habis muka and badan dia jadi kembang and bloated. According to the Dr, there's even fluid in her lung. Anaesthetist came and straight in my face she told me "Buah pinggang mak awak sudah teruk" as through the blood test they've found out mom's toxic level in blood was d*mn high. She even mentioned that mom might go unconcious should the toxic level go intolerable. I was shocked as mom had never been diagnosed with any kidney problem. She put her on Bipap, inserted fluid (to increase her bp) through the neck. Her bp was then depended on 2 meds.

At 2.30pm, they pushed her to CCU for dialysis. Then had to be delayed due to broken machine. Bley? B*ngong kan? At 7pm, dad updated me saying that mom will be transferred to ICU. Upset, mad or pissed off, I rushed to get explanation but they can't furnish me anything as they only receive order from specialist in ICU.

At 7.30pm, she was pushed into ICU but I didn't get to see any Dr until 9.00pm. He explained that the transfers are something not to be worried about (yeah, right!). They will only closely monitor her as well as pushed for dialysis on the same day. Decided to let Hafiz stay for the night.

DAY 03

Dialysis was done at 3am. Surprisingly, she urinates well. That proves that her kidney do functioning but still they need to find out why such hiccup happened. Basically today, they're in the midst of close monitoring her breathing. She's not allowed to lie straight tapi the position certainly melenguhkan dia. They'd tried to remove the bipap but she was breathless and so they had to put it back on. They will run a test (Allah knows how), to see the oxygen level in her heart.

Episodes of surprises

As mentioned earlier, I've planned a few surprises for Mr Hubby's big 30. Just to let him enjoy the remaining feel of the 20th.. Hihihi...

First, I was very much in dilemma whether to get him cupcakes or whole cake. The fact that there's only 4 of them in his office, the idea of whole cake agak macam membazir but to invest in cuppies like, I have pretty high expectation on the design.. Dah ah nak murah lepas tuh nak gempak kan? Camno? I did browse for 3d cake but since I was late, I've been given with no choice in the end but a whole delicious cake of Secret Recipe. Since now SR provide delivery service for RM10 in KL area, I purchased online and scheduled it to arrive @ hubby's office before 2pm. Sebabnya, we'll be taking time off in the evening to send mom and cousin, Kak Su off to airport. Mom as usual has meeting in Terengganu on Saturday and another in Kota Bharu on Sunday.

And thankfully while hubby was busy, the cake arrived right at the office before 11am. And guess what? He and his 2 other staffs managed to finish up 3/4 of the cake! Kebuloq ke tuh?

Once reached home, sesi penyerahan presents. He was very pleased with Alya's craft and hang while lil Alya keep on saying "Aya wants Aya Barney!"

Then, we headed back to Ipoh.

I dah cakap dgn hubby yg I've bought Lost World of Tambun's tickets for MIL, he and I. What he doesn't know was that I've planned a surprise celebration in LWoT with the rest of his family. That night, Angah came to inform that Kak Aiu and the kids has kelas ganti on Saturday and so I pown dgn penuh lakonan (of course with the help of MIL and BIL), offer to bring along Aida and Aina to LWoT.

The next morning, at 09.30am, I've texted SIL telling them that we'll be off to Angah's house to pick up the girls. Akak was scheduled to arrive LWoT earlier and picked up all the tickets. By the time we arrived, akak was still in the midst of handing over the cake to the event manager as no outside food is allowed into LWoT. I helped to settle everything without hubby realizing it.. Phew.. A very close call I must say~

Smpi je to the reserved hut, there's no one around. The decoration for birthday celebration was there but he didn't suspect anything because it was clearly stated that it's reserved for us. Seconds later, "SURPRISE!!!" You should've seen his face at the moment. He said that he already knew that there'd be surprise as Akak has uploaded her homemade cake for him in the fb. Cuma die x taw je lah bile and when will the surprise be...

And so, we enjoyed the whole day there with MIL, Akak and Abg Man and kids, Along Boboy, Ika and Nana. There was also Achik's son (as both Achik and Kak Annur can't make it), Abg Ma, Izzat and Iman. And of course not forgetting Aida and Aina and later came Angah, Kak Aiu and the rest of the troops, Abang Ngah, Addin and Naim.

Mmg enjoy gile and worth it brought them all as we tried everything that is available except for the hotspring. Poor MIL yg x brape nak enjoy sbb kena stay at the hut only (read: jaga beg). But we did bring her on the train and watched tiger feeding show.

The oepration hour of LWoT is from 1000hrs until 1800hrs and we were there from 1015hrs until 1745hrs. Mau x berbaloinyer.. Both kids and adult very much enjoy the Petting Zoo and they're not afraid at all to pet every animals available there. The close encounter to the animals surely an experience not to be missed! We've got to feed them and pat them, and touch them.. Even the Burmese phyton snake tau~ Serius seriau..

These kids laks also enjoy the crazy slides yg hubby did paksa I to go on them. Twice some more! Rasa mcm dah nak hilang suara menjerit non-stop. On top of the available pools, there's also mini theme park. We tried them all including merry go round for Alya. Kesimpulannye, despite Alya tenggelam berkali² (by the parents) everyone enjoy the day and yg paling besh, Alya pengsan kepenatan malam tuh...

Presents hunting

Back to hubby's full-of-surprises birthday~

Since I didn't know what to get for him, I've pleaded him to tell me what he wants for birthday. Furthermore, knowing hubby, he can be very fussy on things. Instead of me buying more shirts and pants, might as well I just get him things that he wants most kan? And so he chose perfume...

So, last Saturday (17 Mar), hubby, me and lil Alya went to our fav shopping place ever, One Utama. Jijak je kaki, hubby got a call from office and he's required to be at the office immediately. Mmg hangin lah sungguh rasanya mengenangkan weekend yg x brape bersama suami tuh.

And so, I was left alone with Alya. Stop by at MPH since I've been thinking of buying educational sticker book for her. Tgh dok syok memilih and browse thru all the interesting and interactive books, Alya leh poo laks and so, off I went to clean her up. Susah sungguh rasanye masa tuh menjadi ibu tunggal sementara~

After that, mengenangkan hubby wont be back in a blink of an eye, I planned to buy birthday pressies from mom and Alya. Mom had informed that she wanted to buy him boxers as he's been complaining that his boxers dah start torn out. Hehehe.. mau x nyer.. Asal shopping je, dok barang Mrs ajer.. :) Grabbed 2 knee length with pockets boxers at The Underwear, ran off to Memory Lane for wrapping. Mujur lah Alya was very much well behaved in her stroller. Stop by at Rotiboy to grab corn bread for Alya.

Tgh dok pening pikir what to give from Alya, I decided to go back to MPH. Then I noticed this cute lil shop next to MPH call Art Crafty (if I'm not mistaken). The class is open for kids age 2 1/2 years and above. Pleaded to roll Alya in as I want her artwork to become his father's birthday present. The class cost @ RM45 per session and it is 1 hour for every session.

Alya chose Barney as her artwork and our first difficulty was to get her into an apron. Done that, the next most difficult thing was to let her hold a brush. She hid her hand and she kept saying "dirty". The teachers had to get her a NEW brush! Kunun pembersih habis lah tuh minah kecik nih. What Alya need to do was just paint the cut Barney. Getting her to paint was pretty hard as well as she's not used to painting at all... I noticed that since each teacher teach only 1 student at a time, the teacher could really help the kids to enhance their skill. Alya was first jotting down the brush instead of brushing it. After a while, she managed to brush the colour though compang camping here and there. Lepas tuh since the Barney agak besar, dia jadi cepat bosan. Bila teacher smooth down areas yg die dh paint, sebuk je die nak brush balik kat tmpt tuh.. Eeiii.. mujur lah the teacher is very patient. Since the Barney comes with a ball, Alya get to choose her own colour. Huh.. dipilihnya colour yg btol² right in front her eyes ajer.. Yg sebuknya, die keep on amek glitters yg ada kat around.

To add personal touch, I've requested for Alya to stamp with her palm. Seeing betapa clean freak nye Alya, teacher suh I je yg colour her palm using colours yg Alya chose. As expected, Alya chose pink first. Masa I paint her hand, she was sitting still and staring at the palm. Seram kot? Bile dah stamp, die cakap "Shome more!" Hehehe.. maksudnye, ok lah tuh kan? Paint her other hand in white (colour yg btol² ada depan mata die) and another in blue. She looked pretty pleased with herself~

Yg kelakarnye, lepas tuh tangan dok terangkat je sbb "dirty".

Elok je habis the session, hubby arrived. Went to buy his perfume yg pada die x besh langsung sbb it's no surprise... Well, hubby, you are yet to know the surprises laid for you already~

It is possible to count only using hand brape kali je kitorg balik bila time drive tanpa memerlukan lampu jalan mahupun lampu kereta. Sampai² rumah, the house is in total chaos. And knowing how fussy my husband could be and before his bebelan menyebabkan urat kepala i tegang sehingga putus, it has been a habit for me utk tros masuk dapur.. Nak² plak kalo keadaan yang sangat kritikal, kengkadang sampai tudung pown x sempat bukak. Tros tanggal jam and rings, sinsing lengan tangan and off cleaning up the kitchen (kawasan paling crucial!).

Apa yang menyebabkan I rasa sakit SAKIT HATI is those "sepahan" mmg definitely bukan disebabkan oleh Alya. Jadi kalo the whole house nak menyalahkan Alya dalam cerita mmg sangat nak menyebabkan I jadi hulk hogan lah jawabnye..

Yes, I understand how active Alya could be and how tiring it is to look after Alya the whole day, tp I x paham macam mana leh biarkan aje she sepahkan and play with things that she's not suppose to (eg: jug, water bottle, tupperware, bowl, pots and etc). Eeii.. masa I jaga dia pown, yes, she wants to play with those things and I will just say no and explain to her. Then, I would distract her with her toys and perhaps play with her for a while. Come on laa.. Don't tell me yang adult pulak yang kena mengalah. Sbb itulah sume budak² kena dijaga oleh org dewasa. Habis kalo org dewasa x leh nak jaga budak², x ke x logik namanye?

We all (me and hubby) have make it into a practise, each time lepas Alya play her toys, and she moved to another activity (eg: watch TV ke), we'll ensure she clean up ALL her toys. Sometimes we sing song "Clean up, clean up, everybody do your part.." with her and she'll start putting back all her toys where it should've been. Jadi sia² lah kan all of these trainings kalo in the end (during office hours specifically), die x practise pown. Macam mana nak dijadikan habit, btol x?

Kalo kot ye pown dah malas nak kemas selalu because she'll keep on rummaging things, tunggu lah smpi dah habis time main die, before her sleep time or milk time ke, kemas lah sket the toys (itupown kalo malas to go through the hassle of asking her to clean up sendiri). Kalo malas lagi, leh je throw ALL her toys into her tent. At least kemas lah sket umah tuh kan? Nih x de ah sampai tahap nak pijak lantai pown teragak² sbb dah penuh dgn toys dier..

Nnti² I sambung lagi sbb nih baru chapter sepahan yg dilakukan oleh Alya..

Arrived home yesterday just to find Alya and mom not in the house. As straight we predicted both of them were at my cousin's house (which is 2 doors away). The moment she saw both of us, she showed us her finger, "Mama, papa, Alya finger hurt.. Gash"

Meaning: Alya's finger hurt because of glass

Rupa² jari die terkepit kat bekas kuih yang kaca. Adalah berdarah sket.. Memandangkan dia ada sedikit darah penakut-dan-x-tahan-sakit mama die, benda kecik macam tuh pown leh jadi besaaaarrrr...

Cousin has been kind enough to put gamat and cover it with handyplast.

The result, die sungguhlah mengada² and keep on repeating the word, "Alya hurt..."

We purposely asked her to hand over things, and sanggup pulak die carry each thing with her right hand only dgn her left hand terangkat macam x leh sentuh langsung. And the funny part was, when my cousin bathed her, siap angkat tinggi² tangan kiri sbb takut kena air! Huh, sungguh exaggerating!

Buat apa pown, tangan kiri tuh sure terangkat.. kire cam dalam safe position lah tuh~

More on Nazrin and Alya~

Since Nazrin is Liza first baby, dia macam kekok sket to clean up him. And so, I help her a little bit here and there as during my time pown I had my tok and hubby to help me with Alya. So, when the baby pooed on day 1, muka confident je cleaning up him.. x taw dalam hati nih punya bergetar holding a one day old baby.. hihihi..

On day 2, I wiped him bila I balik dari keje. And each time bile I want to clean him up, surely die poo. Yang terok nye, bile I habis cleaning him up, put lotion, minyak yu yee, pakai diapers, pakai barut.. die leh poo balik.. Saje je kan? Sayang mama sangat lah tuh..

Anyway, while I was cleaning him up, Alya came and she loudly say "Baby has turtle!"
We were like "What?" Until sume org can connect apa yang dia maksudkan dgn "turtle".. What an imagination kan?

Meaning: Pacifier gone, cockroach take...

Note: Alya named pacifier as "bibik"

Ever since Alya was just few days old, my MIL has been persuading us to introduce Alya to pacifier as she seems to never had enough of my milk. Our first few attempts are failed with Alya being such a drama queen. The moment the pacifier touched her lips, she'd acted like she'd choked.

On 20th May 2008 (exactly 3 months old), I was still full breast fed her. And routine, after work, picked her up from cousin's house (in quarters HKL then) and back to our home sweet home. Mom was not at home; maybe she's outstation... Hubby was in charge to look after her as I grabbed my shower. I came down and to my surprise...

Walla! A pacifier on her mouth. Shock? Of course I was! Hubby claimed that she was nagging for milk and since I wasn't available, he just tried his luck with the pacifier to calm her down. Surprisingly, she took it quite well. Err.. very much well indeed to be exact. She looked surprised to see me quite a distance but still there's nipple in her mouth. Haha.. Girl, you've been fooled by papa~ And there her episodes with the never be apart pacifier had started...

We bought her Avent pacifier until she was 1 year plus before changed to Tommee Tippee pacifier as it looked convincingly better. Ada ke pacifier yang can exactly be call "better"?

Anyway, previously we gave Alya her pacifier to put her to sleep. As time goes by, bile dia minum milk pown die nak hold on to the pacifier. And the worst thing, even with the pacifier pown x guarantee for her to straight away go to sleep. Senang cerita, she just loved the feeling of having pacifier in her mouth.

So, on Wednesday (24th Mar 2010), before went to sleep she was holding onto the pacifier before climbing up the bed and the pacifier fall. I quickly hid it and when she went and looking for it, it was gone. "Kokoch ket bibik" claimed Alya. And off she slept that night without her bibik. The next morning, I transferred her to mom's room and informed that she managed to sleep without pacifier but still I put the pacifier inside mom's bag next to her bed (bawah katil) -in case of emergency. Mom went downstairs for her breakfast, came up only to find Alya was asleep with the pacifier in her mouth. It meant, she had made an effort to climb down the bed, went through her maktok's bag, grabbed the pacifier, climbed up the bed again and dozed off... Hampeh tol~

The next night, I tried again and this time, hubby cut the pacifier's nipple. Nanti² kalo I dh jumpe, I'll post the photo. But still, bile die jumpe, die tetap hisap the half pacifier tuh. Ni kategori determine ke kategori ketagih?

On Friday (26th Mar 2010), I hid it well smpi I sendiri pown dah lupa kat ner... She did ask for it a few times for the few nights sampai ada one time tuh die macam whisper to me "Bibik where? Kokoch ket.. Kokoch, bibik Alya pishhh" Sedih sungguh rasa cam tuh, tp mengenangkan die x mengamuk mcm she used to bile xde pacifier, I kuatkan je semangat.. And the result, she can now sleep without the help of the pacifier lagi dah.. Alhamdulillah~

Calling all Chuggers!

Salam...

Hubby is now laughing hard the moment he saw me log in into my Blogger account. Thanks hubby for the sindiran. He has been asking me to update the blog for ages but only Allah knows how busy I've been for the past few months. Do bear in mind, I'll be busy at least until December. Definite!

My office has signed up with Proton for a project called "Proton Drive for Holidays". This enable all purchasers of Exora and Persona in the month of November and December 2009 redeemed a 2 nights free stay in 33 hotels around Malaysia. And guess how many vouchers have been released? It's 11,000 vouchers and all are valid till 31st December 2010. With only 5 operation staff (1 very much preggy and due in mid of Apr, 1 just come back from 3 weeks of marriage leave), I bet you an do the calculation and see clearly how shorthanded have we become. Gosh...~

I used to find time to call home and check on to Alya at least twice a day but ever since the Proton project is in, mom had to call me to report. Hehehe sowwy girl~

Since I only reaches home @ 7pm (the earliest), I'm drained to even read Alya her favorite storybook. It's frustrating seeing me now and I intend to change it anytime soonest. Have been tensed ever since and realized that only by blogging will I ever release it.

With a clear mind, I'm able to spend quality time with my tiring hubby as well as my forever active little girl. And yes, I'm determine to become a loyal blogger again as I've seen how much I've missed Alya's development.

Oops it's Maghrib! Better go and perform my solat first..

Northern Eco & Adventure Travel Mart 2009, Chiang Mai - Day 03

On the 3rd day, it was all business matters. Very early in the morning we headed to Royal Flora Ratchaphruek Expo. That was where the Travel Mart was held. It is almost similar to our Matta Fair except they are more well known towards travel agent rather than public. But, still it was very much open to the public; though the venue is faaaaarrr away from the city. Plus the theme for the travel mart was eco & adventure.

One thing that I don't fancy Thais is because they hardly have any English signboard. How on earth were we going to understand the programme?

After half day spent at the park, we then proceed for hotels inspection. We were scheduled to inspect 3 hotels (boutique resorts). In this hotel inspection, we'd basically just check the rooms, the amenities & facilities that the hotels have. It's a pretty tiring process and boring.. for me la~

Our first hotel was the Sirilanna Chiangmai.

I can't remember what's the name of the 2nd hotel we went to, but will update you the soonest I found out. Aparaaa...~

Hah! The 3rd and the last hotel I ingat, it's Mae Jo Golf Resort.

After a thoroughly inspection, we had dinner there. But still, they didn't provide halal meals and so we had once again become a vegetarian. Tuh yg balik jadi slim melim nih.. Hua perasan x sudah~

But the highlight of the inspection was hot air balloon session after dinner. Next to the terrace we'd got to light up some hot air balloon.

Highly advisable as it'll be such a release! One kind of theraphy nih kan?

For those who read this I'm begging you please please please don't laugh or judge me after reading this post. Please be reminded that everyone has their own moment and it's just so happen that I'd like to share mine.

Just like everyone else, I also have fav movies and so-called crush over actors. Unfortunately, I'm not the type who easily falls for any entertainer. My last crush was Norman KRU which was perhaps 15 years back and it's such a terrible crush. Err.. I mean, I can go pretty serious in "crushing"... Just like those crush you have over a man you like, you know? But as time goes by, my crush towards him had turn into a respect. I love the way he thinks and manage his family business. Something that Malaysian should be proud of.

Anyway, I'd watched this movie of my new "crush" for quite sometimes and I can't get my head off of it. I had downloaded the whole series and watched it twice. Yes, I'm in love with this guy but I can't watch it anymore and you know why? Err.. you can skip this part as it is pretty embarrassing. Argh who cares! As I mentioned earlier, everyone has their own moment. Ok back to the story, I got butterfly, I became nervous, my hands sweat, my heart beating fast and things seems abnormal whenever I see him. That's it, I've admit it! And the worst part is, I've dream about him. The whole clan actually but in the dream, it was obvious I had crush on him. I keep eyeing on him! Malu weih.. sedangkan mimpi je pown.. And I've signed up as his fan in my fb. Parah tuh!

To all, this is the movie that I was talking about. It such a hit movie though it's a Korean version adapted from a Japanese comic book and even Japanese had their own series of it. I haven't watched other versions and I haven't watched any other Korean drama after this particular one.

I realized that my crush is at critical level when they had the series show at Chiang Mai and there I was freezing as if I was struck by a lightning. Teruk weihh...

Northern Eco & Adventure Travel Mart 2009, Chiang Mai - Day 02

Fuh.. I know if I delay this a bit longer, I'll end up not doing it at all~

Anyway, cut things short, on day 2 we initially have nothing in schedule but then, what's the point of FAM Trip if there's nothing to see or do right? And so we'd persuade Kak Noor to bring us around Chiang Mai so that we could know Chiang Mai better. Further more, all of us had never been to Chiang Mai before (except for Azli; well he's a travel journalist and so.. you know what I mean~). Hey, it's all sponsored by TAT!

Our first destination of the day was Maesa Elephant Camp.

It's shower time! Owh just look at them.. they're having fun! And if you compare them to elephant far in the village, these elephant is far more clean!

After the "bath" session, we went to the see the elephant show.

They showed various of ways for the "rider" to climb and get down from an elephant. And even some musical and dance show from the elephant itself.

They can play soccer and not to mention, a great artist themselves; seriously!

We then headed to Bhubing Palace up further at Doi Suthep. We're supposed to go there on day 1 but due to tight schedule, we brought it forward. After the crooked 1 hour journey (and others vomit), only to find the Palace was close for lunch hour. Hampeh tol. To fill in the lunch hour, we took the chance to go to one hilltribe village, Hmong Village.

Owh, if you ever go to Chiang Mai, you HAVE to visit Hmong Village. But mind you, it's far further up taw. The route is worst than Cameron Highland, honestly. But anyway, it's worth it. We've got to do some shopping for real handmade crafts and silk for cheaper rate and greater value. Had lunch at one of the halal stall there. It's the best beef noodle sup I'd ever taste. Be the soup, the noodle (even bought it), and the chillis. Since we'd love it so much, the owner even gave us some of the chillis; that we brought everywhere, even to the hotel~ And the price is also cheap!!

Nih baru pose kat luar Palace, blom masuk lagi. We all kan camera freak~

To go around the Palace you can either choose by buggy or by feet. And of course, our choice would be, buggy!! It's a huge huge place, ok? And so, we took 3 buggies and mine shared with Kak Noor TAT, and our deary guide, Khun Billy.

This Palace is close in December till January as that's when the royal family usually go there. Since Chiang Mai is on the northern part of Thailand, the weather follows the 4 seasons and end of the year means winter. But ever since the King of Thailand is not feeling that well, they haven't came here for quite some times already. Still, the Palace need to be well-maintain...

Inside the Palace, there are a lot more palaces for the Prince, Princess and not to forget for the Queen's mother. All of these are situated a bit far from each other. There are also a separate building for kitchen, for the staffs, and for the army or guard.

Went back to hotel and we have 1 hour and half for us to get ready for the welcome dinner. Still I sempat gi swimming pool since I love to swim. Tp, spend there for about 30 mins je sbb xde geng. The rest nak berehat sbb pening. Our welcome dinner was held at Centara Duangtawan Hotel, about 10 mins drive from my hotel.

At the dinner we've got to mingle around with other travel agents. Such a good exposure as we've got to widen up our contacts kan.

After the dinner, supposedly it's the end of the event for that day. But then, we all decided to watch a cabaret show @ Playhouse. They had just open on 3rd November and we all had the chance to watch it for FREE! It's a melo-drama which still needs a lot of more practice but still pretty entertaining. Though there's one lady-boy yg obviously x chantek langsung tp control cun. Hangin sungguh kitorg sbb rasa cam die lah yg buat potong show nih.

O goody goody good news

I am very happy today as I've received good news from my newly wed cousin. Err.. I'm not really talking about Yo but Kak Ti. She's officially pregnant! Wee~ Chup tuit.. ada ke yg x brape nak officially? Hehehe.. Anyway, her period was due 10 days ago and so she decide to do the pregnancy test this morning and there the 2 lines are.. Her wedding photos pown I x abih upload lagi.. sigh~ But still the whole family is very happy and looking forward for this new family member.

This makes me wonder, as Alya has been the only baby in the family and she's pretty spoilt by her aunties and uncles, and further more by her Toklong and Tok Mi (Kak Ti's parents), how do you think will Alya be? Will she be ok and love the baby or will she be all jealous and gloomy. This certainly makes me feel uncomfortable and worried... Owh, I do hope Alya will love the baby as much as we're all love her and of course I do hope that everyone will Alya the same instead of totally ignore her.. It seems like it would be just right after seeing the results will I then decide when to get pregnant again huh?

Besh nye wieh tgk ramai org preggy.. Rasa cam nak preggy gak jer.. Tapi...

Hajat di hati rasa cam nak bawak Alya gi Zoo Negara.. Dah lama sangat teringin tp asyik x kesampaian jer.. Tp, x bgtaw hubby lagi.. Nak nak plaks semenjak dua tiga menjak Alya kenal dah banyak jenis binatang and pelbagai bunyi-bunyian binatang..

Agak² kan,

1) besh lagi x zoo negara itu?
2) my hubby setuju x dgn cadangan beriang ria di Zoo Negara esok?

3) berbaloi ke every cent spend kat sana?

4) would she enjoy her time there?

Argh.. x kan pasal nak gi zoo pown kena solat istiqarah? Adoyaiii~ Poning!

Henna.. Hurt?

The day before my cousin Yo got married, I put henna on Alya's left fingers while she was sleeping. Henna yg jenis terus merah and easily dry out tuh. At first I was thinking of putting it on her both hands but afraid that she'll be shock or something, I end up with only 1 hand. Previously, kalo die tgk her Long's fingers, dia akan cakap "Hek" (hurt), tuh yg I xmo drastically put on both hands.

It was almost 10 minutes after she woke up baru she realized yg there's colour on her nail. Itupon after several attempt from my cousins nak tunjuk kat die. She looked surprise but she didn't do or say anything. But when I bathed her, she said "Shoap", asking for her shower gel. Then with the caps on, she tried to put some gel on her thumb nail, put the bottle back, pour some water on the nail (yg kunun nye ada sabun tuh), and "Yub, yub" (rub, rub). Poor Alya trying to get rid of the henna~

But soon, she was ok and hardly even notice it anymore. But whenever we say, "Alya, show me your hurt fingers", surely die akan tunjuk her left fingers while saying "Hek" and even sometimes asked us to blow or rub it. Kunun sungguh~

Northern Eco & Adventure Travel Mart 2009, Chiang Mai

I was pretty surprised when being offered to attend this event. Usually our company will only send PD's staff to this kind of event. But then, CEO called my Manager and asked him to appoint either me or the AM to attend it. Since my AM, Elene is pregnant, I thought that it'd be the best if she attend it because for sure she won't be able to join any once the tummy is obvious, kan? Tp, judging from her previous pregnancy's history (after 3rd months, nauseas die sgt teruk smpi leh mc 2 bulan), we'd decided that it'll be best if I go. Lagipown, chance macam nih bile je lagi leh smpi kan kalo dok dlm Operation Unit nih~ In less than a week to travel baru we all dpt the itinerary which involved "soft" trekking and 4x4. Mujur ah kitorg x hntr Elene.. Kang x pasal je beranak kat situ gak.. Hehehe..

Basically the event is organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand (as per my previous entry). And we're merely reps from Malaysia. The invitation went to 4 travel agents: Sri Sutra Travel (me), Enesty Travel (Kak Lily), Multilift Travel (Kak Fita) and TM Tours (Kak Ita). They also invite 2 reps from the media: Siti (Wanita) and Azli (Libur).

The flight was scheduled to depart at 0720hrs and so I arrived at about 0600hrs. Alya slept all the way from home until we reached Airport. Thanks to my injured hubby, he had to send me and mom (who had to go for meeting in Penang on the same morning) to different airport. Mine is at LCCT because Air Asia is the only carrier who fly direct into Chiang Mai. Met with the rest of the group before we're on board.

We arrived Chiang Mai without any hiccups and delay (Air Asia has certainly improve). Since there were no other arrivals, immigration also went pretty fast, but my bag was ruined! Hangin tol rasanye sbb bag tuh dh lama berjasa and had never rosak sket pown.

Then, we met up with our guide, Khun Billy and straight away go to our first scheduled place to visit, Wat Phratap Doi Suthep. Before that, we made a quick snack stop at Dunkin Donuts. After get ourselves each a bite (sangat laa~), the crooked journey began. Kalah jalan gi Cameron rasanye... When we're asked whether we want to climb the 306 steps or we prefer cable car, of course undoubtedly our answer was "Cable car, please" Hehe.. the cable car cost at only THB30 (RM 3) and it was just like a 5 minutes ride in lift with no view at all. Tang mana cable car nye pown I x taw.

We went down through the stairs instead of the cable car and mind you 306 steps are challenging enough if you're not fit. Menggeletar gak ah kaki nih bile dah reach the ground.. Camno nak adventure lepas nih kalo baru turun stairs pown dah lemah habis lutut nih?

At the foot steps, there are stalls of local cuisines (snacks), fruits and not to forget souvenirs. Had a bite of strawberry with sprinkle of sugar yg ada sket rasa pedas. Nak beli souvenirs rasa cam awal sangat jer.. Due to time straining, instead of visit Bhubing Palace, we headed down to the city for lunch. The lunch was served at Halal restaurant of Al-Farooq Hotel. Not that far from our hotel at about 10 mins drive only. Got to know that as we had to pass our hotel to reach to Al-Farooq, tp x check in pown lagi.

The lunch was superb... Enough said!

After the satisfying lunch, the compulsory shopping stop began. Our first stop was at the silverware factory. They showed a demonstration on how to differentiate between real silver and the false one though we hardly practice that~ Next, the Silk Factory.

How does a silk thread is made..

Setelah menghabiskan masa mencuci mata, off we go to another stop, the making of paper umbrella. Hah! This is worth it. We've got to see the job done from scratch and mind you, it is a very delicate process.

Bought myself a couple of paper and silk umbrella before our last shopping stop at the Handicraft Centre. The souvenirs are pretty cheap as most of it are handmade but none caught my attention. Love some wind-chimes but nah, there's no connection~

Then only we checked in our hotel, Empress Hotel Chiang Mai. We were welcomed by flower garland and greeted by the Front Office Manager himself.. Bila agent dtg, they have to look impressive so we could sell their hotel more.. After got ourselves each room, settled down before dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel do serves pork which limit our choice of food. But thanks to the lunch, we barely feel hungry.

Chiang Mai is famous for its night bazaar and it just so happen that our hotel is just situated about 5 mins walking distance to the first night bazaar. The night bazaars are open every night and it continuous from one to another. Honestly, even me hadn't reached the end of the night bazaar. It is said that the highlight of night bazaar is at every Sunday night which they usually reduce the price up till 30% compare to other nights. But then still I rasa the price are pretty negotiable and acceptable.

Got myself keychains as souvenirs, me and Azli continued to explore the night bazaar while others got themselves a foot massage near to our hotel. On the way back from the bazaar, we'd stop to visit them and that's where I got to go online the other night.

Now you know how tiring a FAM trip could be kan? Mmg ah besh sbb everything is fully sponsored but you hardly has any time to chill up. Anyway, we were there to get to know Chiang Mai and yeah we certainly did.. though not all..

Have safely arrived in Chiangmai this morning without any hiccups. Am here for Northern Eco and Adventure Travel Mart. Will be here until 8 Nov, Sunday. Will definitely update all on the programme~
